Story

Hummus is a young Puggle mix with a sweet personality and a whole lot of potential. At about a year old, he's just beginning to discover how good life can be. When Hummus arrived, he was underweight at only 12 pounds and should be closer to 16 pounds. He's now getting the care he deserves and is on his way to reaching a healthy weight. He will also be fully vetted and neutered before adoption. Hummus can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a couple of days and his affectionate, gentle nature starts to shine through. It's clear that he didn't have many opportunities to learn about the world in his previous home, so he's looking for a patient adopter who can help build his confidence and teach him the things every young dog should know. He came into rescue with his mother and brother, but we believe Hummus would thrive with the opportunity to have his own person and receive plenty of one-on-one attention. With kindness, consistency, and a little guidance, this lovable boy is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. Meet Matzoh Ball! This adorable little Puggle mix is around 2 to 3 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. Matzoh Ball has spent much of her young life having puppies, and now it's finally her turn to be loved, spoiled, and cherished. She's a sweet girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. Once she trusts you, she'll happily curl up in your lap, shower you with kisses, and become your loyal little shadow. Matzoh Ball loves being close to her person and is happiest when she's by your side. She's been fine around other dogs so far, but we've only recently welcomed her into rescue and are still getting to know her.
