Falafel is a young Puggle mix with a sweet personality and a whole lot of potential. At about a year old, he's just beginning to discover how good life can be. When Falafel arrived, he was underweight at only 12 pounds and should be closer to 16 pounds. He's now getting the care he deserves and is on his way to reaching a healthy weight. He will also be fully vetted and neutered before adoption. Falafel can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a couple of days and his affectionate, gentle nature starts to shine through. It's clear that he didn't have many opportunities to learn about the world in his previous home, so he's looking for a patient adopter who can help build his confidence and teach him the things every young dog should know. He came into rescue with his mother and brother, but we believe Falafel would thrive with the opportunity to have his own person and receive plenty of one-on-one attention. With kindness, consistency, and a little guidance, this lovable boy is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a sweet young dog who is ready for a fresh start and eager to learn, Falafel may be the perfect match. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Despite everything, these two gentle souls remain loving, resilient, and ready for a peaceful new chapter. While they would love to stay together, they can be adopted separately if needed. Peanut is a mixed breed, estimated to be 7-12 months old, and weighs about 10 pounds! He was found wandering around as a stray and is now with our rescue in Texas, waiting for his forever home! In the meantime, he is in a foster home with the owner's other dogs, and he is doing great with all of them. He is friendly with other dogs, humans, and cats. He is easygoing, lets himself be handled, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys car rides! He is very playful! Note to the adopter: He is very funny; he doesn't like his feet getting dirty. :) He has a vet appointment for shots and a checkup, and he will be ready to come home on our next transport to the NJ area if adopted.
