Story
Sunny was born on December 19, 2024 making him a little over a year old now. He officially joined our home February 15, 2025. Sunny came from a litter of puppies that a family friend's dog had. We are looking for a loving home for Sunny where he can be active and given ample attention. Sunny is very energetic and playful. He has a stubborn side when it comes to his behavior, but he can surely improve with more consistent training and attention from the right family.

Morty is a happy little guy who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap, demanding love, cuddles, and belly rubs—preferably while being cradled like the baby he believes he is. He’s not perfect—he’s got a bum eye—but that just adds to his charm. Morty is part of our Senior Sanctuary and is bonded to his best girl, Snow White. These two are a package deal and will be adopted together. While he’s safe with us, Morty would love nothing more than a home of his own to spend his golden years, right alongside the one he loves most. Adoption fees for bonded dogs are 2-for-1. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. Amelie is a 5-month-old, 7-pound Frenchie/Yorkie mix who came to us through owner surrender and is still figuring out her place in the world. She’s a sensitive little soul who wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and part of a pack. She’s learning how to dog—taking cues from other pups, building confidence, and discovering that good things happen when you trust. Amelie can be a bit protective of her person at first, but once she understands who’s safe, she relaxes and happily shares attention and space; and plays like a puppy should. With patience, consistency, and gentle guidance, Amelie will thrive. She’s looking for a home that understands that confidence grows with time—and that the most rewarding bonds often come from earning trust.
