Hi, I’m Scarlett!I’m a 6-year-old female Boston Terrier, and I’m looking for a family who’ll help me feel safe and loved. Shelter life can be a little overwhelming for me, so I may act a bit fearful at first. I warm up best when people let me come to them at my own pace. A quiet room or crate where I can unwind would help me settle in. Gentle handling, and yummy treats are the way to my heart. Supervise new introductions and give me time before expecting me to join in on all the household fun.In the yard, I’ve shown loose, relaxed body language, neutral ears, and I enjoy exploring. Jessie was dumped and some nice people saw her on the county road. They knew that she would die out there so they brought her home. She is living in a barn because their dogs are older and not happy with her presence. She is good with other dogs and loves playing where the resident dogs do not - thus the problem. She weighs 25 lbs and they think she is a mix of a Boston Terrier and a Jack Russell Terrier but just a guess. She is super cute,She's very sweet and smart; she just wants to play and is active. She has been in this situation for 2 months and getting lonely. The finders do not want to take her to a shelter. We would love to help her. She is young - 10 to 12 months old. ##2581781##

My foster mom says I am very athletic and have a ton of personality, and so handsome… that makes my blush! At this time my trainer feels it would be best for me to be an only dog. I’m crate trained and leash trained. I need a home without children, older teens may be okay. Must have a home with fenced yard, no apartment.
