Story
Meet Newt!   Newt came to us as a breeder release, and at 3.5 years old and only 11 pounds fully grown, he's one seriously tiny Boston Terrier with a whole lot of personality packed into that little body. Newt is an extremely sweet, sensitive boy who absolutely loves to cuddle... if you can catch him first! This silly little guy LOVES being chased and thinks turning cuddle time into a game of “catch Newt” is quite possibly the best part of his day. Once the game is over, you'll see what a tender little soul he really is. Newt wants someone who will give him all the love and affection he's been missing. He is great with dogs of all sizes and cats, great on a leash, and does wonderfully in the car. He's also a fantastic houseguest. Newt is well behaved in the home and isn't destructive when left out, making him a pretty easy little companion. Newt does have a sensitive tummy, so his future family will need to resist those puppy-dog eyes when dinner is served. No table scraps for this boy. He has done very well eating Orijen dog food, and we recommend keeping him on the diet that works for him to avoid upsetting his stomach. Newt is tiny, funny, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. He just needs a family who will give this sensitive little guy the security and love he deserves. And preferably someone willing to participate in his daily game of “you can't catch me!”   Apply to adopt Newt: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13102/generic ##1630138##

Story
I am Bowie, a 3‑year‑old, 15‑pound professional happiness enthusiast. Honestly, I’m pretty sure the whole world exists just so I can enjoy it, and I do. Every day. With gusto. I adore my humans and stick to them like a tiny, loyal shadow. If you move, I move. If you sit, I curl up at your feet or slide right into your lap like it’s my natural habitat. I’m quiet, polite, and perfectly content to just be with you wherever we go. I’ve got all the good‑boy basics down: I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I’m great with kids, too. Other dogs? Well… as long as they are on a leash and keep their distance I guess they are ok. I don't like other dogs getting to near me. I'd be happy as your main guy. Oh yeah and I like to do a bit of digging in the yard so I need a secure yard and a watchful eye.  I’m a playful little guy, fetch, short walks, a quick burst of zoomies, but that’s just the warm‑up. My true calling is cuddling. After a bit of play, I’m ready to spend the rest of the day snuggled up with my human, soaking in all the love. I’m also a big fan of car rides, especially when the destination involves a pup cup. If whipped cream is involved, I’m already buckled in. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who believes joy is a lifestyle and cuddles are a necessity, I’m your boy and would do great as an only dog. My adoption fee is $400. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hi there!  My name is Mickey, I’m about 6 years old and weigh 22 pounds.  I’m a smart, charming guy, and very focused!  My foster mom says I am very athletic and have a ton of personality, and so handsome… that makes my blush!  At this time my trainer feels it would be best for me to be an only dog.   I’m crate trained and leash trained.  I need a home without children, older teens may be okay. Must have a home with fenced yard, no apartment.  I am looking for an active owner or couple who will want to do lots of things with me but is also very patient and will continue my training.  My adoption fee is $150. NO YOUNG CHILDREN.  NO OTHER PETS. MUST HAVE FENCED YARD. MUST AGREE TO ATTEND SEVERAL TRAINING SESSIONS WITH HAPPY VIRTUALLY AND AT A FACILITY IN PRINCETON, TX.  We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Chanel came to Flying B Rescue from a local shelter in July after they determined they weren’t able to resolve some ongoing medical issues. Since then, we’ve been on a mission to figure out what was going on with her digestive system. It has taken a lot of TLC, specialist visits, patience, and more than a little trial and error, but we finally believe we have Chanel’s gut issues under control. And what a difference it has made! Chanel is a cuddle connoisseur. She craves her people and would much rather be by your side than off entertaining herself. She’s a shadow in every sense of the word — literally, thanks to her gorgeous dark gray coat, and figuratively, because wherever you are, Chanel wants to be nearby. She’s a quiet, patient girl who has always preferred people over playing with her dog friends. But now that she’s feeling better, we’re seeing a whole new side of Chanel. Her energy is up, she’s more engaged, and she’s even starting to interact and enjoy the company of the other pups. We’re so proud of how far this girl has come. Now we’re looking for the next chapter: a family who will be as committed to Chanel’s ongoing care as we have been to getting her well. She deserves someone who will continue to listen to her, advocate for her, and give her the love and patience she has shown us every step of the way. And in return? You’ll get one very sweet, very loyal shadow who would be perfectly happy spending her days right beside you. Ready for a meet and greet? Kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.
