Story
Meet Nim – The Cutest Pug on the Planet! Nim is a one-of-a-kind little boy who will absolutely melt your heart. He’s a tiny pug, weighing just 10 pounds, with the sweetest short little legs and a rare genetic anomaly that gave him long, fluffy fur—making him extra special and extra adorable. Quiet and calm by nature, Nim is the perfect snuggle buddy, but don’t let that fool you—he still gets bursts of playful energy where he scoots and hops around in pure joy when he sees you. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, cats, and absolutely adores children. Nim has been with us since he was just 8 weeks old, and now that he is 2, he’s still patiently waiting for his forever family. Sadly, many people searching for pugs want the typical loud snorts and snores—but Nim is different. He’s a soft-spoken, gentle soul, and truly the most precious pug you’ll ever meet. This little boy deserves a loving family who will celebrate his uniqueness… maybe even give him his very own Instagram page to show off his cuteness to the world! Story
Hi! I’m Beignet, but my friends call me Benny. 🐾 I’m around 3 years old, about 25â€Â㦊 pounds, and basically the perfect mix of playful, sweet, and easygoing. I had a rough start after being hit by a car around Christmas 2025, but thanks to lots of care, rest, and love, I’ve made a full recovery and am back to doing all the normal dog things I love most. Running? Yep. Playing? Absolutely. Jumping around and having fun? You bet. These days, I’m living my best life and soaking up every adventure I can. I LOVE walks, enjoy playing with toys, and fit in seamlessly with other dogs. I’m a friendly, social guy who greets new people with a sweet and gentle demeanor, and my foster says I’ve been an easy houseguest with zero accidents in the home. I’m also a pretty silly little dude. Sometimes I get so excited I accidentally grab a sock or shoe while looking for a toy, but I promise I mean well. I just love being involved in whatever my people are doing. After everything I’ve been through, I’m more than ready for a forever family to call my own. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with just the right amount of goofy charm, I’d love to meet you. ❤ï¸Â One important note: I would do best in a cat-free home. I’ve met a cat before and decided they’re just not really my thing. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Story
Pete is looking for a loving foster home where they can rest and recover while receiving medical treatment. Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: Approximately 1 week(The foster timeframe may vary depending on recovery and any follow-up medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Pete is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. While recovering, they may have symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and nasal/eye discharge. Because URI can be contagious to other dogs, we recommend keeping them separated from resident dogs until they have fully recovered. They will go home with medication and all the supplies needed for their care. Once treatment is complete, they will return to Operation Kindness for their spay/neuter surgery and adoption. How to take this pet home: Adopt: Pete is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows prospective adopters to take pets home before they are available for adoption. Visit Operation Kindness and speak with our Client Services team. Foster-to-Adopt placements are first-come, first-served. Foster: Interested in fostering this pet? Email foster@operationkindness.org.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
FORE!!! Incoming cuteness… Josh is a Border Collie/Pittie mix and appears to be powered entirely by snacks, curiosity, and an alarming lack of self-preservation. Case in point: when Josh arrived at Flying B, he was in rough shape and required emergency surgery to remove the inner core of a golf ball from his GI tract. Apparently, nobody told Josh that golf balls are for fetching, not eating. Thankfully, he came through surgery like a champ and is making a full recovery. These days he's focused on eating actual food, gaining back much-needed weight, and making up for lost time. Josh is firmly in his awkward teenager phase. He's all legs, enthusiasm, and questionable decision-making. Watching him tear around the yard at full speed, only to realize he may have overestimated his turning radius, is part of his charm. This boy loves to run. Whether it's zooming around the yard, exploring a trail, tagging along on a hike, or hopping in the car for his next adventure, Josh is happiest when he's part of the action. He's looking for a family that enjoys getting outside and experiencing life alongside their dog. When the adventures are over, Josh is all about the cuddles. Beneath all that puppy energy is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being close to his people and soaking up attention. Honestly, Josh has already checked "major emergency surgery" off his puppy bucket list. From here on out, we'd like his adventures to involve hiking trails, road trips, muddy paws, and long naps after a day well spent. This resilient, goofy, lovable kid is ready to find a family who appreciates a dog that lives life with his whole heart. Josh has overcome a rough start and is more than ready for the fun part of his story to begin. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.
