Story
Here's some info on my little bud Hunter. He's a puggle and about 13 years old and in great shape for his age. He still can outrun me. Loves to play and grabs his toys soon as he gets in from a walk or when I arrive. He loves to cuddle and can sleep all day if nothing to do. Loves going on hikes. Hunter is super chill with doggies and kids. When it comes to other dogs he mostly will just sniff them. Sometimes he like a dog and will follow. I've had him since he was just a few weeks old and would love for him to be in a place where he gets tons of love and more interaction and exercise. He loves being outside, hikes and camping. He's part beagle so super food motivated. Will do anything for food. I feel like this is the one thing that will keep him going a long time 😂 He's a good little old man and I'm hoping to find him a home where he gets the love he deserves. P.s. I just signed up for a plan with Banfield which includes unlimited vet visits along with some other perks.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌲💛 Meet Forest — The Puggle With the Snuggles! 💛🌲 (2 Years • ~25 lbs • Certified Good Boy) If you’ve been wishing for a dog who’s equal parts adorable, cheerful, snuggly, and slightly goofy in the BEST possible way… congratulations, you’ve just found Forest — the Puggle who brings sunshine, tail wags, and pure serotonin everywhere he goes. At 2 years old and around 25 pounds, Forest is the perfect “I fit anywhere” size — couch? Yes. Car seat? Absolutely. Your lap even when you just sat down with hot coffee? Oh, 100%. This fawn-colored sweetheart has a warm expression that could melt the polar ice caps and a personality that says, “Hi, I love you, what’s your name, do you have snacks?” He’s friendly, charming, and convinced that every human and dog he meets is his new best friend. 🐾 Forest’s Favorite Things: • Walks where he can sniff 92,000 smells per minute • Treats (your fingers may or may not become “bonus treats”) • Being included in anything — chores, TV time, folding laundry, life decisions • Wagging his whole butt, not just the tail • Making people laugh with his joyful Puggle antics Forest is housebroken with the help of a dog door, kennel trained, and an easy, happy companion in the home. He floats through life with the spirit of a tiny golden retriever trapped in a Puggle body. He recently completed heartworm treatment (fast-kill, immiticide), and he’s expected to test negative at his next check — meaning he’s ready for his fresh start, his forever family, and hopefully a spot on your couch. He’s great with other dogs and wonderful with kids! Cats? Well… they’re still a mystery, but at his size and temperament, he’s likely to be more “confused friend” than “villain.” 🌟 Forest’s Stats: • 2-year-old Pug/Beagle mix • 25 lbs of happy wiggles • Housebroken + kennel trained • Friendly, playful, loyal, and easygoing • HW treated and ready for a healthy future • Good with dogs + kids • Cat status: to be determined (he's optimistic) He is currently with a neighboring rescue partner — we work together to save as many lives as we can — and we will happily pull him into Hay Dude Rescue to complete his adoption. If you’re searching for a dog who lights up every room, fills your life with laughter, and gives the BEST “I missed you for 10 whole minutes” greetings… Forest is ready to join your family and your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Forest is ready to start his new chapter full of love, joy, and so many treats. 🐾💛

Story
Currently in a Seattle foster home Meet Haram, a 7-year-old, 15kg male Beagle mix with a wonderful blend of Beagle and Labrador Retriever. He’s the perfect mix of lively energy and gentle calmness—an absolutely charming companion. Haram spent a long time in a shelter, even finding himself on the euthanasia list at one point. But by some miracle, he was rescued and given a second chance at life. Even after all those years in the shelter, Haram never lost his warmth toward people. He loves human touch, and when you approach him, he’ll gently make eye contact with you, wagging his tail in the sweetest way. It’s impossible not to fall for him. His personality is incredibly gentle. He gets along well with other dogs and is never aggressive, even when playing. He loves being social and interacting with everyone around him. When meeting new people, he opens his heart quickly, rolling over to show his belly in a playful request for some belly rubs. Haram is also a fantastic walking buddy. True to his Beagle nature, he’s curious and loves exploring, but as he’s gotten older, he’s calmed down quite a bit. After a good walk, he’ll lie down quietly, resting contentedly by your side. He genuinely enjoys the time spent walking with his family and can’t wait for those daily strolls. Because of his long shelter life, Haram doesn’t have much experience living in a home, so he might need a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings. He might make a few mistakes at first, especially with house training, but he’s incredibly smart and quick to learn. With patience and love from his family, he’ll soon adapt to a steady routine and household rules. Haram is not just a “survivor”—he’s a dog ready to give and receive love. His eyes tell the story of trust, of wanting to live and share life with someone who will care for him. Now, what he needs most is a forever family who will fill his remaining years with warmth, joy, and laughter. Haram is waiting for that special family to take his paw and make his final journey a beautiful one.

Story
WANTED: BeachBound Bestie for One Goofy Frenchie Named Huckleberry Hi there. Huckleberry here! Yes, that Huckleberry. The short king with the big personality, the aerodynamic ears, the perfect squishy face, and the dream of finding one special human who’s ready to hit the beach with me. If you’re looking for a charming adventure buddy who can also double as your personal space heater, keep reading! I’m just over one year old, full of enthusiasm, and built like a loaf of joy. I run like a tiny bowling ball with legs, I snort like an unplugged accordion, and I love nothing more than leaping at ocean waves like they personally insulted my family. The beach is my favorite place, hands down. Sand? Amazing. Water? Delicious. Sea breeze? Inspiring. Driftwood? I will carry it with pride. My ideal adventure partner should love sunshine strolls, short hikes, and cheering me on as I practice my Olympiclevel rollandsnort routine. I’m an excellent blend of highenergy zoom sessions and couchpotato cuddles. After a day of wave jumping, I will absolutely collapse into your lap with a dramatic sigh like a Victorian poet. A few things you should know if you want this handsome Frenchie in your life:I get very excited when it’s time to put on my harness and I simply can’t contain my joy! I also like to jump and will need help remembering my manners! I’m known to rub my face and entire body across any soft fabric like I’m trying to imprint my essence on it. I play rough and fast, so dog friends should be high energy or very patient. With people, I do best with slow introductions, but once I decide you’re cool, I’m all in. Personal space? Never heard of it. I am a lap dog, a snuggle bug, and a shameless attention seeker. Health notes from my team: I need to stay at a healthy weight because Frenchies can have back and breathing issues. I had BOAS surgery, which helped A LOT, but I’ll still need someone who keeps a close eye on my breathing and limits exercise on hot days. Basically, I need a responsible beach buddy! If you're dreaming of early morning shoreline strolls, cozy nighttime snuggles, and a loyal little dude who thinks every day with you is the greatest day ever, then look no further. Signed,HuckleberryYour Future WaveChasing, BlanketRubbing, SnuggleChampion Frenchie   Huckleberry is estimated to have been born in September 2024 and weighs 26 lbs. His adoption fee is $450. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.  Fill out an adoption application for Huckleberry at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application ##2547256##
