Story
Teddy is such a cutie! After going through a few transitions recently, he`s ready to find a new home and settle into a new routine. Teddy did well with a cat and another dog in his most recent home and might be a good fit for a home with other mild-mannered animals. He was the tiniest bit insecure when he first arrived at the shelter and a busy home with young kids might be a bit overwhelming for him, so HSBV is recommending a home with older or no children at this time.

Story
** If you are interested in adopting Daisy please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Meet Daisy! Daisy is an adorable, 4 and a half year old, 10 lb, Mini Poodle mix. The Texas vets said she most closely resembles a Schnoodle (Schnauzer / Poodle mix) based on her coat, face shape, and overall structure. That said, we want to be transparent that we do not DNA test our rescue dogs. Breed is always our best visual and professional assessment, not a guarantee — and with mixes like Daisy, there can be a variety of breeds in the background that make her the unique little pup she is! This little cutie has quite the mysterious past — she was shockingly found as a stray in Texas wearing a fancy collar (with no tags), but sadly, no one ever came looking for her. It’s hard to imagine how a dog this special ended up on her own, but we’re so grateful she’s now safe and getting her second chance. Daisy is as sweet as they come. She is incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs, with a happy, social, and easygoing nature. At just 9 pounds, Daisy is the perfect pint-sized pup with a big heart. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start fresh with a family who will adore her as much as she deserves. Daisy is up to date on her vaccinations, has been fully vetted, is healthy, heartworm negative, and is spayed. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
