Meet Valentina, a sweet 3-year-old mini poodle who is ready to find a patient and loving forever home. Valentina did not have the best start in life, so she is still learning to trust the people who care for her. She will need a family willing to give her time, kindness, and reassurance as she continues to learn that she is safe and loved. Valentina does require a fenced yard, as she does not currently go potty while on a leash. She is about 99% housebroken but may occasionally have a nervous accident when she is scared. Valentina is up to date on her shots and has been spayed. She is crate trained, although she does need to be placed in her crate, and if she sees you, she may want to come back out. She currently sleeps in her crate at night and stays there while her foster family is away. Valentina has had some teeth removed, so her food is currently softened to make eating easier for her. Valentina is currently fostered with other dogs and a cat, and she does well with them—even though they are all bigger than she is. She has also been around children of all ages, but she would do best in a quieter home where she can feel comfortable and secure. Valentina would prefer to have a dog sibling to help her continue learning the ropes of being a dog. She is a very calm-spirited girl whose favorite thing to do is relax on the couch. She also enjoys playing with her foster dog friends outside, especially when the humans are not watching. Kennel License 9117 Reading PA 19608

This six year poodle has made a pretty amazing transformation since coming into rescue, and she is here for it. Originally quite shy and skittish, VIvienne has evolved from avoiding contact with humans to seeking out attention whenever and wherever she can. Once she figured out that people were the source of food and affection, she started seeking attention and - as she got more comfortable - she became known as "Velco Vivi".  If you sit down, she is by your side, hoping for a spot on your lap.  Head for the door, she's right with you and ready for the next adventure. Little VIvienne came into rescue with a ridiculous amount of extra fur hiding a very large hernia.  She went to the top of the surgery list and is fully recovered from her spay, hernia repair, and dental.  She is currently living with other dogs of all ages and sizes and cats and is fine with all of them. No other dogs? Vivi would be happy to be your one and only! Crate-trained and housebroken when taken out regularly, although regression can happen with a change in environment. Vivi walks well on a leash.  While she currently enjoys wandering around a fenced in yard, she would be fine without a fence. Fully vetted. Her 4dX is negative, she is microchipped and  UTD on vaccines and preventatives. Vivienne would be a great fit for a variety of homes - if it weren't such a mouthful, maybe her full name should be Vivacious Versatile Velco Vivienne!?! Ginger the cavapoo is a spunky, sweet, and FUN puppy who is ready to find a family that can keep up with her! She is about 9 months old and weighs 10 lbs! She has lots of energy and would love an active home that will challenge her both physically and mentally. Ginger is very intelligent and enjoys staying busy, and regular walks are a great way to help her burn off some of that puppy energy! Ginger loves other dogs, but we feel she would do best with a dog who enjoys playing and can match her energy level. She loves to chase and be chased and is always ready for a good game! Ginger can be a bit of a toy thief and may try to sneak some of her furry friend's food, so her ideal canine companion should be happy to play and share. Being the smart girl she is her forever family must be committed to continue working on basic commands and keep her challenged so she doesn't get into trouble. When she's not zooming around and having fun, Ginger is an absolute cuddle bug! She loves being close to her people and will even tuck her little head right underneath your chin for extra snuggles. Ginger is not a fan of the crate, so a home where she can have space to stretch out and relax would be ideal. A fenced-in yard would also be a huge bonus for this playful girl, as she loves running around outside and playing with her toys. She is full of life, love, and energy! Ginger can be quite vocal and likes to bark, so her future family should be prepared for a chatty little companion! Overall, she is a smart, affectionate, playful girl with a big personality. If you're looking for a puppy who will keep you active, make you laugh, challenge your brain, and then curl up for cuddles afterward, Ginger may just be your perfect match!
