Story
Everyone meet Miss Tulip. Tulip is a 3yr old(ish) Merle mini poodle weighing in at 12lbs and boy is she a stunner!!! With her beautiful Merle coloring and her ice blue eye she is sure to melt your heart. Tulip is still a little shy and will require a very patient and understanding home. Hi friends, it’s me Tulip. I’d like to start by telling you I’m still pretty skeptical of the world. My life before rescue wasn’t great, I hold a lot of trauma from that. My foster family is teaching me that not all people are mean and I trust them, but Im still a little nervous. I will need a new family that is quiet and chill with very minimal commotion. Another furry sibling who is confident and chill would be amazing. I love all my foster siblings very much, both canine and feline, and I know having another doggie friend will make my transition a little less scary. My foster mom says I am a Queen with the potty thing, whatever that means. Maybe she is happy cause I never go inside. I’m also ok with a crate. My favorite place to be is on my dog bed, except for when the black kitty of the house won’t leave me alone, then I take a nappy in my crate. I don’t get on the furniture, yet. My foster mom keeps trying, bless her heart. Tulip has not had much practice on a leash, they scare her. We have no doubts she will be fine one day but today, she is not so she will require a physically fenced in yard. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE! She is UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. She has also been spayed and had a full dental. If you are the calm and quiet home with a fenced in yard that Miss Tulip needs to be her bestest self, please apply for her at www.zoeshouserescue.com Kennel License 9117 Reading PA 19608

Story
Sweet and shy Kira was surrendered from a commerical breeder. She is a 1 year old, ~40lb golden doodle. Kira means sunshine. Unfortunately, her previous life does not appear to have include any sunshine. It is said some dogs need so much extra love to forget about their past life. She definitely falls in that category. Now in foster she is very slowly starting to shine. She is excellent in the car, learns a routine quickly, and does not have accidents in the house. She could be your one and only for you to give all your attention or could share with a calm fur sibling. Her favorite toy is a tennis ball. She throws it and catches it by herself. Kira requires a fully fenced yard, as she is still very scared of most everything. She needs a super patient person to continue breaking down the wall she has built around herself - we promise she will be worth the wait. We are expecting that Kira will specifically need more adjustment time than some others - she does well with consistency and having routine throughout her day. In her current foster home she has made much progress - initially needing to be carried outdoors. Now Kira will walk on a leash and is known to play with her tennis ball and explore the yard, or will hang out with her foster mom and relax. She is not fond of the male in the foster home, so an all female home would be best for her. Kira came to us extremely matted, and went through a beautiful transformation with her first real haircut. She will need routine grooming to keep her looking her best! She is microchipped, and has been on flea/tick/heartworm prevention since coming into the rescue and current on vaccines and has been spayed. Meet Sugarplum! Age: 7years Breed: Mini Poodle Size: Small Energy Level: Moderate Sugarplum is a gentle, loving little poodle with a soft spirit and so much love to give. She may be a bit shy at first and needs some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys calm, relaxed strolls. Sugarplum would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help her feel secure and show her the ropes. She also does well with older, respectful children who understand that she may need a little space as she settles in. She is crate and potty trained, regression is common with a change in environment. Sugarplum has been through quite a bit and is looking for a compassionate adopter who will continue to support her care. She has had a dental procedure with extractions and has undergone surgery to remove both mammary chains due to multiple mammary tumors. She also has a stage 3 heart murmur, which will require daily medication for the rest of her life, along with annual checkups with a cardiologist to ensure she stays as healthy as possible. Despite everything she’s been through, Sugarplum has a quiet resilience and a sweet nature that shines through. With patience, understanding, and love, she will blossom into a deeply loyal companion. If you’re looking for a special little dog who will reward your kindness with unwavering devotion, Sugarplum may be the perfect addition to your home. Sugarplum is being fostered in Lancaster, PA and all potential adopters will need to travel there for a meet and greet!  Kennel License 9117 Reading PA 19608

🤎 Meet Sam 🩵 - a 16 pound 3-year-old miniature poodle with the cutest bi-color eyes. Sam spent the first years of his life locked away as a breeding dog with barely any human interaction. Now that he's free, he is finally learning what it feels like to be apart of a family and is loving every second of it! Hi, I'm Sam or as my foster mommy loves to call me her shadow. Now that I'm finally trusting humans, I just don't like being away from my foster mommy. I am a curious boy who is loving this new life! I get along with dogs, cats and most humans. Men still scare me a little, but I'm trying my best to trust them. I love going on walks and playing with my neighborhood puppy friends. My foster mom tells me that I am an excellent walker! I am crate trained, but I prefer to spend my nights sleeping with my foster mommy. I'm still working on this house training thing, but I wear my belly bands proudly. Sam is still learning how to be a family member, so having another confident dog in the house would be best. Since he doesn't like being alone, he would benefit with having someone who is home most of the time. Even though he is amazing on a leash, a fenced in yard would be ideal. Sam is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and ready for his forever family. Sam had a dental when he came into rescue and sadly had to have over half of his teeth removed. That doesn't stop him from eating, but he might struggle with large kibble. If you are looking for your own shadow, then Sam is your man!! ♥️ Apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Meet Einstein – A Very Special Little Boy Looking for a Very Special Family ❤️ Some dogs come into this world needing a little extra care, but they have an extraordinary way of filling hearts with love. Einstein is one of those dogs. This precious 3-month-old Cavapoo puppy has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus, making him a very special little guy. Right now, his condition is not causing him any issues, and he’s living life just like any happy puppy. Because hydrocephalus can change as he grows, his future is uncertain, and he is searching for a family that understands his condition and is committed to providing whatever medical care he may need throughout his life. What Einstein lacks in certainty, he more than makes up for with love. He is the sweetest, gentlest little soul who simply wants to be close to his people. Whether he’s curled up in your lap for a nap, covering you in puppy kisses, or happily playing with his foster siblings, Einstein’s heart is always full of joy. He loves every dog he meets—big or small—and has a calm, affectionate nature that makes everyone fall in love with him. Einstein is up to date on his vaccines and preventatives. Because he is still so young, he has not yet been neutered. He will be adopted with a neuter contract that includes an additional fee, which is fully refundable once the contract is completed. As a Cavapoo, Einstein will also need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. Einstein isn’t looking for perfection—he’s looking for compassion. He needs a family willing to embrace both the unknowns and the incredible joy that comes with loving a medically special puppy. In return, he’ll give you unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a lifetime of unconditional love. If you have room in your heart for a puppy who may need a little extra support but has an enormous heart to give, Einstein is waiting to meet you. Sometimes the most extraordinary dogs come in the smallest packages, and this sweet little boy is proof that love knows no limits. Einstein is being fostered in Berks County and potential Adopter will need to come to this area for a meet and greet with all current residential dogs. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Meet Willa! 🐾 Willa is a 5-year-old Mini Bernedoodle with the sweetest personality you could ask for! We think she may be mixed with another breed because of her adorable short little legs—but don't let them fool you. She does great on a leash and loves going for walks! Willa is looking for a special home with a family who has previous rescue experience, where she can truly thrive. She came to us from a commercial breeder and was previously adopted, but it simply wasn't the right fit for everyone. Now she's hoping to find her forever family. Willa doesn't ask for much, but she does have one important requirement: she must be allowed on the furniture! She is the definition of a couch potato and loves nothing more than curling up beside you, resting her head in your lap while you relax together. She is an excellent house guest. Willa is house-trained, although we always say regression is common in new environments, ignores cats, gets along well with her Golden Retriever sister, and settles nicely in her crate (even if it isn't her favorite place). She would do best in a calm home without young children 12 and under. Willa loves going for walks, so someone who likes to walk at a slow pace would be wonderful since she has to sniff everything! Willa is also a very good car rider! Because Willa is quite the little escape artist, her future family will need to take extra precautions. She should always wear a GPS tracker or similar device, and her home should have secure barriers or a reliable system to prevent her from slipping out the door. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for this gal! Willa is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and more than ready to steal your heart—and your spot on the sofa! She's a calm, gentle, affectionate girl who simply wants a safe place to relax and be loved. Honestly, isn't that what we all want? Willa is currently being fostered in Strasburg, PA. Story
We know—Waffles is fluffy, adorable, and absolutely capable of stealing your heart at first glance. But this little guy is looking for a very specific kind of home, and that’s okay. The right match will make all the difference for him. Waffles needs an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who understands that it’s their job to help him feel safe and secure—not Waffles’ job to protect his person. He does best with someone who uses patience, structure, and positive reinforcement to build trust and confidence. Waffles can be protective of high-value items, so his ideal person understands the importance of trading up (think yummy swaps!) rather than taking things away. With the right approach, he bonds quickly and shows just how sweet he truly is. He would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with minimal comings and goings, where he can settle in and feel secure. Once he knows you’re his person, he’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. Waffles at a glance: Sweet boy who bonds quickly Prefers a calm, predictable environment Crate trained, house trained, and well-mannered in the home Rides well in the car Does well with other dogs Waffles isn’t looking for chaos—he’s looking for comfort, understanding, and someone willing to meet him where he is. In return, he’ll give you devotion, love, and a very special bond. If you’re experienced, patient, and ready to be Waffles’ safe place, he may just be the perfect companion for you.  Waffles is fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and is ready to join a family. www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Waffles bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2592171&name=Waffles #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptme #minipoodle ##2592171##

Story
Meet Talia 💕 a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a heart that just needs time. Talia is a very shy, sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. She is not a dog who seeks out attention right away in fact, she currently prefers space over physical affection and may not enjoy being pet at this time. Talia will need a patient, understanding home that respects her boundaries and allows her to come around on her own terms. While she may not be a “cuddly” dog right now, Talia finds comfort in quiet environments and consistent routines. With time, trust, and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to build meaningful bonds but her future family must be willing to go slow and celebrate the small wins. Talia is fully vaccinated, spayed, and has excellent manners for grooming. She is doing very well with housebreaking and continues to improve, though she may still have occasional accidents as she adjusts. Talia would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters who understand shy or undersocialized dogs. She’s looking for someone who will love her for who she is right now not who they expect her to be. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for dogs who need a little extra understanding, Talia could be your girl 💗 Apply to adopt Talia here: https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt Zoe’s House Rescue
