Story
Everyone meet Miss Tulip. Tulip is a 3yr old(ish) Merle mini poodle weighing in at 12lbs and boy is she a stunner!!! With her beautiful Merle coloring and her ice blue eye she is sure to melt your heart. Tulip is still a little shy and will require a very patient and understanding home. Hi friends, it’s me Tulip. I’d like to start by telling you I’m still pretty skeptical of the world. My life before rescue wasn’t great, I hold a lot of trauma from that. My foster family is teaching me that not all people are mean and I trust them, but Im still a little nervous. I will need a new family that is quiet and chill with very minimal commotion. Another furry sibling who is confident and chill would be amazing. I love all my foster siblings very much, both canine and feline, and I know having another doggie friend will make my transition a little less scary. My foster mom says I am a Queen with the potty thing, whatever that means. Maybe she is happy cause I never go inside. I’m also ok with a crate. My favorite place to be is on my dog bed, except for when the black kitty of the house won’t leave me alone, then I take a nappy in my crate. I don’t get on the furniture, yet. My foster mom keeps trying, bless her heart. Tulip has not had much practice on a leash, they scare her. We have no doubts she will be fine one day but today, she is not so she will require a physically fenced in yard. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE! She is UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. She has also been spayed and had a full dental. If you are the calm and quiet home with a fenced in yard that Miss Tulip needs to be her bestest self, please apply for her at www.zoeshouserescue.com Kennel License 9117 Reading PA 19608

Meet Valentina, a sweet 3-year-old mini poodle who is ready to find a patient and loving forever home. Valentina did not have the best start in life, so she is still learning to trust the people who care for her. She will need a family willing to give her time, kindness, and reassurance as she continues to learn that she is safe and loved. Valentina does require a fenced yard, as she does not currently go potty while on a leash. She is about 99% housebroken but may occasionally have a nervous accident when she is scared. Valentina is up to date on her shots and has been spayed. She is crate trained, although she does need to be placed in her crate, and if she sees you, she may want to come back out. She currently sleeps in her crate at night and stays there while her foster family is away. Valentina has had some teeth removed, so her food is currently softened to make eating easier for her. Valentina is currently fostered with other dogs and a cat, and she does well with them—even though they are all bigger than she is. She has also been around children of all ages, but she would do best in a quieter home where she can feel comfortable and secure. Valentina would prefer to have a dog sibling to help her continue learning the ropes of being a dog. She is a very calm-spirited girl whose favorite thing to do is relax on the couch. She also enjoys playing with her foster dog friends outside, especially when the humans are not watching. Kennel License 9117 Reading PA 19608

Story
Sweet and shy Kira was surrendered from a commerical breeder. She is a 1 year old, ~40lb golden doodle. Kira means sunshine. Unfortunately, her previous life does not appear to have include any sunshine. It is said some dogs need so much extra love to forget about their past life. She definitely falls in that category. Now in foster she is very slowly starting to shine. She is excellent in the car, learns a routine quickly, and does not have accidents in the house. She could be your one and only for you to give all your attention or could share with a calm fur sibling. Her favorite toy is a tennis ball. She throws it and catches it by herself. Kira requires a fully fenced yard, as she is still very scared of most everything. She needs a super patient person to continue breaking down the wall she has built around herself - we promise she will be worth the wait. We are expecting that Kira will specifically need more adjustment time than some others - she does well with consistency and having routine throughout her day. In her current foster home she has made much progress - initially needing to be carried outdoors. Now Kira will walk on a leash and is known to play with her tennis ball and explore the yard, or will hang out with her foster mom and relax. She is not fond of the male in the foster home, so an all female home would be best for her. Kira came to us extremely matted, and went through a beautiful transformation with her first real haircut. She will need routine grooming to keep her looking her best! She is microchipped, and has been on flea/tick/heartworm prevention since coming into the rescue and current on vaccines and has been spayed. Meet Sugarplum! Age: 7years Breed: Mini Poodle Size: Small Energy Level: Moderate Sugarplum is a gentle, loving little poodle with a soft spirit and so much love to give. She may be a bit shy at first and needs some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys calm, relaxed strolls. Sugarplum would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help her feel secure and show her the ropes. She also does well with older, respectful children who understand that she may need a little space as she settles in. She is crate and potty trained, regression is common with a change in environment. Sugarplum has been through quite a bit and is looking for a compassionate adopter who will continue to support her care. She has had a dental procedure with extractions and has undergone surgery to remove both mammary chains due to multiple mammary tumors. She also has a stage 3 heart murmur, which will require daily medication for the rest of her life, along with annual checkups with a cardiologist to ensure she stays as healthy as possible. Despite everything she’s been through, Sugarplum has a quiet resilience and a sweet nature that shines through. With patience, understanding, and love, she will blossom into a deeply loyal companion. If you’re looking for a special little dog who will reward your kindness with unwavering devotion, Sugarplum may be the perfect addition to your home. Story
Hi, hi, hi! It's me again, Scarlet! I’m a one and a half year old, 10 pound Goldendoodle, and I am adorable, I am cuddly, and I am ready to steal your heart! (My foster family says I’m already an expert at it.) My favorite activity? Being wherever my people are. On the couch? I’m there. Relaxing in bed? I’m there. Walking to the kitchen? Obviously, I’m coming too. I’m basically your very fluffy little shadow—and I think that’s a pretty great job! I’m smart, playful, and always ready for some fun. I LOVE my toys, I think fetch is fantastic, and I’m getting really good at coming when I’m called. Inside, I’m pretty reliable. Outside... well... let’s just say rabbits and deer have a very convincing argument for why I should temporarily forget my name. Because I’m tiny and surprisingly talented at squeezing through small spaces, I need to be on a leash or in a securely fenced yard. Those standard metal fences? Please. I may be little, but I’m basically a furry escape artist. I LOVE other dogs and would be so happy to have a playful doggy sibling who enjoys running, wrestling, and general puppy-style shenanigans. I’m still working on my leash manners, and I should probably mention that cats are WAY too exciting for me. I love to chase them, so my forever home needs to be cat-free and without other small animals. I’m also doing really well with my house training! Keep me on a good routine and I’ll do my best to be a very good girl. I’m not exactly a fan of the crate, though. I much prefer my comfy dog bed next to my people. Being alone can make me a little nervous, so my dream family is one that’s home often and wants me to be part of the action. And remember: I am small. Like, really small. So please watch your feet! If you accidentally step on me, I will probably give you the biggest “EXCUSE ME?!” look you've ever seen. I’m spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for my next big adventure: finding my forever family! If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, affectionate little girl who will keep you laughing, follow you everywhere, play with you, and then curl up beside you for cuddles...When can I move in? www.zoeshouserescue.com Kennel License 9117 Reading, PA 19608

🤎 Meet Sam 🩵 - a 16 pound 3-year-old miniature poodle with the cutest bi-color eyes. Sam spent the first years of his life locked away as a breeding dog with barely any human interaction. Now that he's free, he is finally learning what it feels like to be apart of a family and is loving every second of it! Hi, I'm Sam or as my foster mommy loves to call me her shadow. Now that I'm finally trusting humans, I just don't like being away from my foster mommy. I am a curious boy who is loving this new life! I get along with dogs, cats and most humans. Men still scare me a little, but I'm trying my best to trust them. I love going on walks and playing with my neighborhood puppy friends. My foster mom tells me that I am an excellent walker! I am crate trained, but I prefer to spend my nights sleeping with my foster mommy. I'm still working on this house training thing, but I wear my belly bands proudly. Sam is still learning how to be a family member, so having another confident dog in the house would be best. Since he doesn't like being alone, he would benefit with having someone who is home most of the time. Even though he is amazing on a leash, a fenced in yard would be ideal. Sam is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and ready for his forever family. Sam had a dental when he came into rescue and sadly had to have over half of his teeth removed. That doesn't stop him from eating, but he might struggle with large kibble. If you are looking for your own shadow, then Sam is your man!! ♥️ Apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Meet Trinket! You know those little treasures you stumble across that make you smile? That’s our Trinket. :-) Trinket (aka Trinky, Trin, Trinny, Minnie Trinny, Trinketta, the list is endless), is an adorable 2-3 year old bichon who was recently released from a breeding facility. Trinny is one of those dogs that makes your heart grow three sizes. She’s happy, insanely sweet and quietly discovering that life can actually be pretty awesome! With that said, Trin is still learning to trust people, so she needs an adopter who understands that trust isn’t built overnight. She loves her people and does the cutest little happy dance when she sees you but in the beginning that’s from a distance. Fortunately treats are a very quick way to Trinny’s heart. Trinket is much more confident with dogs than people, so having another playful, confident canine companion is a must. She thrives in the company of other dogs and is currently living with 2 bichons and 2 pitties. Her favorite thing is to zoom – zoom – zoom in the yard with her foster sibs. Trinket is what we call a flight risk. She will dash at every opportunity with an open door or fence. She startles easily and isn’t comfortable pottying on leash yet. A physically fenced in yard is a must – along with a safety plan, including baby gates, for all entryways into/out of the home. We know fences aren’t everyone’s favorite requirement, but this one isn’t negotiable. This is what’s best for Trin, period. Trinket is crate trained but she does like to voice her opinion when she’s first left alone, thankfully her little protest speeches are short-lived. If you share walls with your neighbors, it’s something to keep in mind. She hasn’t been cat tested yet but we’re happy to do that for the right applicant. We can’t imagine there’d be an issue but we can confirm. Trinket is spayed, had her teefs cleaned, UTD on everything, on preventatives and microchipped. She has a grade 2 heart murmur. It doesn’t require any treatment at this time, but your veterinarian should monitor it during her annual checkups to make sure it doesn’t progress. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend who just needs a little patience, a canine buddy and a whole lot of love, Trinket may be the little treasure you’ve been waiting for. Please visit our website, zoeshouserescue.com to apply today. *Please note: Trinket is being fostered in Levittown,PA. A separate meet and greet with potential adopters and all resident pets is required prior to final approval. Kennel License 9117 PO Box 2372 Reading, PA 19608

Story
Meet Talia 💕 a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a heart that just needs time. Talia is a very shy, sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. She is not a dog who seeks out attention right away in fact, she currently prefers space over physical affection and may not enjoy being pet at this time. Talia will need a patient, understanding home that respects her boundaries and allows her to come around on her own terms. While she may not be a “cuddly” dog right now, Talia finds comfort in quiet environments and consistent routines. With time, trust, and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to build meaningful bonds but her future family must be willing to go slow and celebrate the small wins. Talia is fully vaccinated, spayed, and has excellent manners for grooming. She is doing very well with housebreaking and continues to improve, though she may still have occasional accidents as she adjusts. Talia would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters who understand shy or undersocialized dogs. She’s looking for someone who will love her for who she is right now not who they expect her to be. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for dogs who need a little extra understanding, Talia could be your girl 💗 Apply to adopt Talia here: https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt Zoe’s House Rescue
