Story
Hey everyone, you have to meet Billie — a gorgeous, fun-loving girl who is now looking for her forever home. 💕 Billie was born November 10, 2024 and currently weighs about 32 pounds. Her DNA shows she’s a mix of Poodle, Boston Terrier, and King Charles Spaniel, with a little of other breeds sprinkled in. She’s the perfect size for playing, cuddling, and everyday adventures. Billie is great with older children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and absolutely loves to play. She enjoys going for walks and has a happy, playful personality that makes her a joy to be around. She’s about 50% house trained and does much better when she has access to a contained yard, where she can go out more frequently and continue learning her routine. Billie’s previous family had her since birth but, unfortunately, could no longer keep her. She’s lost the only home she’s ever known and is now hoping someone special will step in and give her the love, stability, and security she deserves. Regarding heartworm status: Billie tested positive initially, but that result may have been a false positive. She was retested at a different veterinary clinic, with proper timing, and that test came back negative. She was off heartworm prevention for about five months, so out of caution she will need to be retested in six months. If she were to test positive at that time, treatment can be discussed. Story
Tofu is a miniature poodle mix with a fun, energetic personality and a whole lot of love to give. We have not seen any shedding from her so far. She is a very active little girl who absolutely loves toys and thrives when she has other dogs to play with. Because of this, Tofu is looking for a home with another playful dog who can match her energy and keep her engaged. She is crate trained, rides great in the car, and is decent on a leash. Tofu is still working on potty training and currently uses puppy pads, so her future home should be patient and consistent as she continues learning. She does well with other dogs, cats, and children. Tofu is a very sweet girl who deserves a home where she will be loved, spoiled, and showered with toys and adorable dresses. She will do best in an active home that understands puppy energy and is ready to embrace all the fun that comes with it. Story
Pictures will be posted when we have them.  This sweet doodle came to us as a breeder release, which means life as a family pet is all brand new to them. They are still learning about the world outside of a kennel setting and will need a patient, understanding home that is willing to give them time to adjust and build confidence at their own pace. They do best with routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement. While initially shy or unsure in new situations, their personality continues to shine more each day. Many breeder-release dogs thrive in homes with another friendly, confident dog to help show them the ropes. He is crate trained, does well with other dogs, but is not comfident with leash skills. They are not a “plug-and-play” dog and will need time to decompress, but with consistency and love, they become incredibly loyal and affectionate companions. Adopters should understand that adjustment can take several weeks or longer, and moments of insecurity or hesitation are normal during this transition. The reward is watching a dog learn what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family.
