Story
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA:  Hi, I’m Oscar, a friendly young Ragdoll-mix male!  I enjoy human attention and like everyone I meet.  I love to sleep on my foster mom’s bed at night.  She describes me as “a playful, floppy sort of fellow, outgoing and goofy!” My pal Sterling and I are a bonded pair, and we need to be adopted together.  We've never been around dogs or children, but we get along great with other cats. I was born in approximately February 2024, have been fixed and am up to date on my shots. Please note: Oscar has chronically runny eyes as well as cherry eye, but these conditions do not seem to bother Oscar and his veterinarian has ruled out any infection. This is a Courtesy Post, and Oscar is in a private foster home in Pleasant Hill, California.  For more information, please contact Suzanne at suzannejo16@gmail.com. Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with the rescuer and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.March 15, 2026, 5:56 pm

Doppler (the tabby meteorologist) is an energetic little lady who starts every day by making her rounds to say good morning. She’s a toy-chasing champion, professional greeter, and part-time cuddle expert. If there's fun to be had, Doppler is already there! Cumulus (the fluffy gray cloud) is exactly what you'd imagine a cloud would be if it turned into a kitten. With his sweet ragdoll personality, he melts into pure putty the moment you pick him up. He loves being carried, cuddled, and adored—and he fully expects to be treated like the precious little cloud prince he is. Together, they're the perfect weather system: Doppler brings the playful energy, and Cumulus brings the calm, cozy cuddles. They balance each other beautifully and are looking for a forever home where they can continue their adventures side by side. Bonded pair Playful and entertaining Expert-level snuggle providers Seeking a loving forever home Warning: Side effects of adopting these two may include excessive smiling, canceled plans due to lap cats, and finding yourself narrating your day to tiny furry supervisors.   Amanda Click here to watch a video of Doppler and Cumulus.June 19, 2026, 4:47 am

Story
Bandit is a 3year old Siamese/Ragdoll little girl. Her 3 years have been full of different adventures. Bandit (formarly Rosy) was found with her brother in San Carlos. They were taken to Nine Lives to be spayed and neutered and were adopted but something happened. Bandit ended up on her own in a back yard. She wanted to come into a home but the resident cat was having none of that. So Bandit came to CIW. She is a great little girl who is current with her vaccinations. She also has a microchip. She is shy initially but comes around fairly quickly. She loves to watch the birds but doesn't want to hurt them. She seems to like ladies more than men but with patience accepts strokes from both. She is a great little companion for any home. Is your home the home for Bandit?? Please note: Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1781852438&src=aap]

Story
Hi, I’m Maggie I’m a 7-year-old purebred Ragdoll looking for a calm, loving home where I can be your one and only feline princess. I absolutely love pets and attention — the second you start petting me, I turn into a purring machine. I’m sweet, gentle, and happiest hanging out near my people. I’m not really a cuddly lap cat, but I do enjoy companionship and being admired from a comfy nearby spot. I would prefer to be the only cat in the home so I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. A quiet home where I can relax, be spoiled, and enjoy life at my own pace would be perfect for me. If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate companion with a soft coat and an even softer heart, I might just be your girl. Story
🐾 Meet Birdie — Part Cat, Part Garden Supervisor, Part Expert Hunter 🐾 Birdie is a 5-year-old rescue cat with a big personality and a soft heart. Adopted from a pet adoption pop-up in Napa, she has spent her life around young children, dogs, and even puppies, making her wonderfully adaptable to a busy household. Birdie is the definition of independent. She enjoys her indoor-outdoor lifestyle: spending her nights patrolling the property, hunting moles and gophers like a pro, then coming inside to sleep the day away in a sunny spot. If you’re working in the garden, don’t be surprised if she follows along to supervise your efforts. She has a delightfully bossy demeanor and knows exactly what she wants, especially when food is involved. (Treats are the fastest way to her heart!) Birdie isn’t the type of cat who wants to be carried around, but she tolerates it with good grace. She takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once you’ve earned her trust, she’s incredibly affection
