Story
Gwendolyn is a stunning 3-year-old girl with mesmerizing blue eyes and a gorgeous torti-point coat that requires only light brushing to keep her looking her best. This graceful lady has a calm and steady presence, perfect for someone seeking a devoted feline companion. Gwendolyn lives with rhinitis, a condition that causes chronic nasal inflammation, but don't let that worry you—it's easily managed and doesn't stop her from living her best life. She's the ideal balance of playful and relaxed. While she can be bashful when meeting new people, Gwendolyn's curious nature ensures she'll warm up in no time with a little patience. Once she feels at home, she loves being near her favorite humans, often asking to be picked up by placing her soft paws on your legs. She'll reward your affection with sweet kisses and occasional chats. This special girl would do her best as the only pet in a household where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. If you're looking for a devoted feline friend, Gwendolyn is ready to fill your home with warmth and love. Could Gwendolyn be the perfect match for you? She's waiting patiently for a forever home to call her very own. 🐾 Gwendolyn is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. Story
The owner of a Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery asked us to help find homes for some of her kitties. They are absolute treasures. I really don't know why she named this delicate, very feminine little girl "Tank". She has a very full coat and her tummy hair kind of touches the floor. But really -Tank ??. She is only 9 pounds ( but she is still growing). I renamed her Thomasina which was the first female "T" name I could think of. Thomasina is quite a character. She is whimsical, determined, sometimes shy sometimes not. She hates cameras and scowls -look at her grumpy expression when we were showing her tummy. (It was hard not to laugh.) She likes to flatten her ears a lot more than most cats -no idea why. She often sticks out her little pink tongue which just makes me swoon. Her ruff is huge and thick. Her little white feet are wonderful. She is smart and has a vivid. changeable personality. Thomasina was a little subdued when she arrived, not quite confident in her new surroundings. As she got to know her foster moms she relaxed and began enjoying the attention we gave her. At eighteen months old she is one of the youngest of this group of beautiful kitties. She is still learning about the world and will be fine in her new home but, like most of these kitties, will need a little bit of time to adjust. We just spayed her and in some photo's you can see her tummy has been shaved. Like most Ragdolls she needs a quiet, peaceful, orderly home. She is not a good kitty for a home with noisy playing children or barking dogs. She wants to be treasured, cosseted, kept safe and secure. She has lived around cats and would likely be fine with non dominant goodnatured kitties. Thomasina's magnificent floofy coat is easy to care for. Her long hair doesn't have the cottony undercoat that a Persian's has so it doesn't matt much at all. It is super soft and wonderful to touch. Grooming her is surprisingly easy and she likes being brushed. Ragdolls are known for their mellow, gentle behavior. They are emotional cats and need a happy home. With their sensitive nature, Ragdolls will know how your day went and comfort you through the hard times.Thomasina would like her humans to be home with her most of the time. Are you retired? Or do you work from home? That would be perfect. This is a healthy, happy, loving kitty. She uses her box. She eats wet and dry food. Her favorite food is Costco Rotisserie Chicken cut in tiny pieces. Thomasina is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. Story
Well, Renne is the sweetest boy. It is easy to take pictures of him because he loves being touched and that shows in every photo. To meet him is to love him. He is a great favorite.Through no fault of his own he has had a troubled start in life. Ragdolls are known for their very sensitive, emotional nature which is a part of their Siamese heritage. They do not take change well or crisis or chaos. Renne is an exceptionally sensitive, loving kitty. Here is his story: A nice family with kids bought him as a kitten. A medical situation developed in that family that caused a great deal of commotion in the home, loud noises, service providers visiting, disruptions. He was very distressed. He hid. Loud noises scared him. His vet said "He is entirely healthy but his life with you is too stressful. I would suggest he be adopted into a new home." Utterly heartbroken his family finally contacted me asking could I rehome him. I found him a wonderful home with a woman, her son and one other cat. She had recently lost a senior kitty. He loved them and slept with his mom every night though he still hid during much of the day. An experienced cat woman, his mom thought he was "the sweetest cat she had ever met". So what went wrong? Well, unfortunately, her resident senior kitty didn't welcome him and as time passed things got worse not better as she tormented him. Ultimately after six months his new mom made the made the painful decision she had to let him go for his own good. We were surprised how easily and quickly he settled back in with us. We could see how much his time in his last home had helped him. He is good natured and very friendly to everyone. Amazingly he seems comfortable with the other cats around him. It is hard to believe he is the same cat. He has been growing up and will be four in June. I don't know what this has all been about but I know he was sold at a very young age. Could this be as simple as being taken away from his siblings too soon ? Needing time to grow into a confident adult? Third time is the charm. I am looking for a very special home for him. A quiet, happy, stable home, one with folks who are around much of the time. Maybe a retired person or couple or someone who works from home.I would like to set him up as an only pet, no other cats or dogs, no young children just to make the situation easy for him. He is such an amazing treasure. Some family will be so very lucky to have his loving company. Renne is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.
