Story
Gizmo (GG) is a five-year-old cat with a sweet and sensitive soul. While she was adopted without noted health concerns, I have observed that she may have a disability, such as partial blindness, which makes her fearful of sudden movements, loud noises, and new environments. Despite her anxiety, GG is incredibly gentle. Once she feels safe, she enjoys bird watching, exploring the house, and cuddling at the foot of the bed. She is even comfortable being bathed and dried, which demonstrates her deep capacity for trust. Currently, she prefers to stay in the bedroom during the day, typically only venturing out at night when the house is quiet. She is litter box trained, and I currently keep her box in my room to accommodate her comfort level. I believe GG would thrive in a quiet, low-stimulation home with a single owner or someone who works from home. She would likely do best in an environment without other pets or young children, where she can receive the patience and calm energy she needs

Story
Gwendolyn is a stunning 3-year-old girl with mesmerizing blue eyes and a gorgeous torti-point coat that requires only light brushing to keep her looking her best. This graceful lady has a calm and steady presence, perfect for someone seeking a devoted feline companion. Gwendolyn lives with rhinitis, a condition that causes chronic nasal inflammation, but don't let that worry you—it's easily managed and doesn't stop her from living her best life. She's the ideal balance of playful and relaxed. While she can be bashful when meeting new people, Gwendolyn's curious nature ensures she'll warm up in no time with a little patience. Once she feels at home, she loves being near her favorite humans, often asking to be picked up by placing her soft paws on your legs. She'll reward your affection with sweet kisses and occasional chats. This special girl would do her best as the only pet in a household where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. If you're looking for a devoted feline friend, Gwendolyn is ready to fill your home with warmth and love. Could Gwendolyn be the perfect match for you? She's waiting patiently for a forever home to call her very own. 🐾 Gwendolyn is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Gwendolyn please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com If you are unable to reach Dayna please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Dublin and Berkeley MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Adoption Fee: $300 for the pair Berkeley and Dublin are a stunning bonded pair of boys with a story that tugs at the heart. Dumped in a field and left to fend for themselves, these beautiful souls have only grown closer through their tough beginnings—and now they're looking for a calm, loving home to finally call their own. Bashful at first, Berkeley and Dublin are gentle and affectionate once they've had a little time to settle in. They thrive in a peaceful environment and will reward your patience with soft purrs, tender companionship, and the kind of love that only comes from animals who truly appreciate their second chance. These two are inseparable—wrestling buddies by day and snuggle partners by night. Whether they're chasing string toys, batting around balls, or blissed out on catnip, their playful energy is balanced perfectly with moments of quiet contentment. They're not the chattiest cats on the block, but offer them a few treats and you'll be treated to a sweet little back-and-forth that's uniquely theirs. If you're looking for a pair of bonded best friends who will bring both joy and serenity into your life, Berkeley and Dublin are ready to fill your home—and your heart—with love. Dublin is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento. Story
If you’re “shopping” for a cat please go else where. If you’re just thinking about adopting, decide 1st. She needs a real cat person that will love any cat because all cats deserve to be loved and not somebody looking for a certain esthetic. What are you truly looking for? Moma was a stray cat with a litter of four kittens running around my apartment complex during the summer of 2024. I started feeding them and realized she was pregnant again. I was able to trap her and get those kittens. She was about to get spayed at the spca for their TNR program. After she recovered from the surgery I released her but she came right back inside later that night. I wasn’t planing on keeping her but she’s so cute and just wants to sleep and cuddle. The spca people said she was about 4 years old at the time so she about 5 now. She can be skidding with new people but is very curious. She hasn’t been around small children or dogs, just other cats.

We will be reviewing the applications to find the best match. She would be best in a house that has lots of trees and wildlife to watch.  Meet Lucy:She is the total package: gorgeous, affectionate, hilarious, and just a little bit dramatic. She is about 2 years old.  Her favorite hobby is bird watching from a safely screened window, where she takes her role as Neighborhood Wildlife Supervisor very seriously. When she’s not keeping tabs on local birds, she’s likely following her favorite humans from room to room because, in Lucy's opinion, life is simply better together. Lucy loves to brushed and pet. She is also a wonderful lap cat.  Lucy is incredibly people-oriented and loves being near her humans. Her signature move is the Welcome Home Belly Flop™. Leave the room and come back? Belly flop. Come home from work? Belly flop. Walk by and say hello? Another belly flop. It’s her adorable way of showing how happy she is to see you. She gets the occasional case of the zoomies, loves sleeping near her people, and is always happy to accept attention. Lucy does have one important request: she’d like to be your one and only cat. Other cats make her uncomfortable, and she’ll be happiest in a home without feline roommates.  If you’re looking for a beautiful cat with a big personality, a loving heart, and a knack for making you feel like the most important person in the world, Lucy is ready to meet you.Click here to watch a video of Lucy.August 3, 2026, 9:58 pm

Story
Calliope is 2 years old. She has been in the family since she was adopted as a kitten. She does need to be brushed 1-2 times a week. I do have grooming tools, water dish, the rest of the bag of food and a carrier. The vet recommended food that does not have a lot of protein since she is a low energy cat. I do have monthly prescribed flea treatments for preventative care. She is very docile and loving. She has lived with dogs and cats. Loves to have safe hiding places. I would keep her, if I didn’t have to move.
