What my friends at OHS say about me:If you're patient with me, I am sure to blossom and become your best pal.Please provide some hidey spots for me to access when I need time to feel safe!I should be pursuing a career in cat modeling, but instead I'm just looking for a nice family to call my own.I have been diagnosed with ringworm. This will require continued treatment and isolation from other animals and children. My adoption fee will be waived if you meet the specific adopter criteria.To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.I have been exposed to another cat who has been infected with the panleukopenia virus. I will need to be kept separated from unvaccinated or immunocompromised felines for two weeks.I have been diagnosed with giardia which is a contagious intestinal parasite. *READ TO END! Hi, Im Mikko. Im 7 years old & very affectionate, but it takes a long time for me to warm up to someone, so please be patient w/me! I like perching atop windowsills & to watch whats going on. I love laying in the sun & when I have enough energy, I love to play as well! When I'm comfortable, I will want to cuddle... a lot! I have FIC which can be triggered with stress. This means I would thrive in a low-traffic home w/NO children OR other pets. I like being the only child! I need a calm environment to relax in & enjoy my time with you. Its also very important I stay inside; Im not used to the outside. I prefer my fur short so indoor temps will have to be regulated. I have medication to help reduce the chance of triggering my FIC, which is easy-to-administer. Please consider ALL of this before applying! I will come w/all of my vet records, a bag of food, my medication, a carrier, a blanket, & toys. If you are interested, please contact my owner for more details!
