Story
Meet Milano — The Fluffy Gentleman At 4 years old, Milano has perfected the art of being sweet, soft, and slightly sophisticated. He’s the kind of cat who leans into your hand for more pets, melts under chin scratches, and happily soaks up attention like it’s his full-time job. Milano is more “calm companion” than “chaotic kitten.” He enjoys lounging near his people, observing the world with quiet confidence, and being admired for his very impressive coat. And yes — that luxurious fur does require regular brushing and grooming to keep him looking runway-ready. (He prefers to think of it as spa time.) Coming from a home with many cats, Milano has decided he no longer enjoys having other felines in his personal bubble. He values his space and doesn’t appreciate anyone getting in his face. However, we think he could peacefully coexist with a friendly, respectful cat who understands boundaries and isn’t looking for constant interaction. If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate, fluffy companion who’s more about quality cuddle time than wild antics, Milano is ready to settle into his forever home — sorry, brush not included. 🐾✨ Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! Story
Meet Gabby – A Ragdoll Queen Ready for Her Peaceful Palace 👑🐾 At 12 years young, Gabby is the definition of timeless beauty and gentle grace. This stunning Ragdoll isn’t just a pretty face — she’s a professional snuggler, a devoted companion, and a certified sweetheart. Gabby absolutely adores people. She loves attention, leans into affection, and wants nothing more than to be near her humans. She’s also wonderfully social with other cats and truly enjoys feline companionship. However, Gabby has recently been living with four young children, and that level of activity has simply been too overwhelming for her sensitive soul. The constant hustle and bustle caused her to retreat — hiding more often and even pooping outside the litterbox. She has been thoroughly checked by a veterinarian, and no medical issues were found. The behavior is believed to be stress-related. Gabby isn’t “difficult” — she’s just asking for peace. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can relax, feel secure, and soak up all the love she so willingly gives. In the right environment, we fully expect her stress behaviors to resolve as she feels safe again. Gabby deserves the very best in her golden years — a soft place to land, gentle hands, and a home where she can reign as the cherished queen she is. If you have a peaceful home and a big heart for a loving senior girl, Gabby is ready to give you all of hers. 💕 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! ✨ Elphaba – From Dumpster to Dream Girl ✨ A Little Patience = A Lifetime of Love 💚 Meet Elphaba, a 1.5-year-old Ragdoll mix with a heart as big as her gorgeous, fluffy coat! You may remember her as one of the Pampers Kittens—rescued from a diaper box left by a dumpster. Her journey hasn’t been easy, but she’s worked so hard to overcome her fears, and now she’s ready to find her forever home. Elphaba is still learning to fully trust humans, so she’ll need a patient, cat-savvy adopter who can go at her pace. Once she feels safe, she transforms into a sweet, affectionate girl—rubbing against your legs, asking for pets, and leaning in for those magical bum scratches. 💫 Because new places can be overwhelming, Elphaba will need to start in a crate to help her adjust and feel secure. She also must have a confident, friendly cat in the home to show her the ropes and help her continue building trust. She’s all about feline friendship but would do best in a quiet, adult-only home without dogs. Elphaba is a shy but shining star just waiting for her moment. If you're the kind of person who finds joy in helping a cat truly bloom, this sweet girl will reward you with a love like no other. 💕 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Simon and Baxter! This bonded pair of kitty brothers live in a Montevallo Alabama Foster home and will leave us when they are adopted. Transportation is included in every adoption fee. We pay a licensed USDA animal Transporter for every pet that we send to the northeast. We do not own the van service. Pets see a licensed veterinarian the same week of transport for a health exam and interstate health certificate. Fosters FaceTime with the approved Adopter so you can see your pet and learn about them in real time. We have been adopting dogs and cats to families for over 15 years. These kittens were born to what we thought was a feral Mom cat. She was TNR when they were young, then we rescued them and sent them to a foster home with lots of love and experience with kittens. In less than a week, the black kitten, Simon, was purring! It took a little longer for white tabby brother, Baxter, to warm up, but they've done remarkable and are so deserving of a true forever home. They are inside only and have not wanted to leave the comforts of home. They are happy and playful with each other. They love the human teenager in their foster home. He doesn't expect too much and allows them to live life on their terms and just be playful kittens. That's helped grow their bond so we know they can bond again with you. Baxter (white tabby) and Simon are 6 months old now and about 6 pounds each. Both kittens are neutered, Simon is combo test negative, Baxter is "light" FIV positive. Please do your research. We'd be glad to have the conversation with you. FIV cats should live inside, which he does. Both kittens have FVRCP, boosters, rabies, dewormed, microchip, and they receive parasite prevention. They come with medical records. Simon and Baxter eat canned cat food and dry kitten food every day. They have perfect litter box manners. These two kittens could bring a lot of joy to your home. $350 adoption fee includes transportation and a health certificate. Serious adopters should fill out the application online and we will be in touch with you. We prefer a vet reference current or previous to adopt a kitten. Please call your vet to release information on your pets. https://form.jotform.com/232763732515154
