Story
James Alexander (Jamie) is a 8 year old, mostly flame point ragdoll with beautiful light blue eyes. He is friendly when he wants to be. Likes to be petted, and rub up against his person, but when tail starts flicking, he is done. Does not like being picked up and cuddled. Does flop over and expose his belly when his person comes to pat him. Does like to sit near you on couch. He is ok with older, calmer cats. He is a beautiful, healthy cat. Only re-homing because I am downsizing and can't take all my animals due to HOA limits. Fully vetted, last annual visir was in May of this year. Kibble diet (Iams). Prefers non-clumping litter. Loud purrer!

Story
✨ Elphaba – From Dumpster to Dream Girl ✨ A Little Patience = A Lifetime of Love 💚 Meet Elphaba, a 1.5-year-old Ragdoll mix with a heart as big as her gorgeous, fluffy coat! You may remember her as one of the Pampers Kittens—rescued from a diaper box left by a dumpster. Her journey hasn’t been easy, but she’s worked so hard to overcome her fears, and now she’s ready to find her forever home. Elphaba is still learning to fully trust humans, so she’ll need a patient, cat-savvy adopter who can go at her pace. Once she feels safe, she transforms into a sweet, affectionate girl—rubbing against your legs, asking for pets, and leaning in for those magical bum scratches. 💫 Because new places can be overwhelming, Elphaba will need to start in a crate to help her adjust and feel secure. She also must have a confident, friendly cat in the home to show her the ropes and help her continue building trust. She’s all about feline friendship but would do best in a quiet, adult-only home without dogs. Elphaba is a shy but shining star just waiting for her moment. If you're the kind of person who finds joy in helping a cat truly bloom, this sweet girl will reward you with a love like no other. 💕 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this post is still up, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). There's no need to email us about availability, just submit an application if you're interested! For more information about our adoption process, please visit our website: https://scruffypawsanimalrescue.org/about-adoption/ All adoption fees include: - Spay/neuter surgery Adoption Process - Microchip - Rabies and distemper vaccinations - Proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing - Flea treatment & deworming - A veterinary exam Please Note: Scruffy Paws operates by appointment only and is not open to the public. Story
It breaks our hearts to make this post, but we are looking to rehome our beautiful blue mitted Ragdoll girl. She is sweet, playful, gentle, and incredibly affectionate. She loves attention and being close to her people.Since welcoming two young children into our family and managing a household with multiple cats, we have come to the difficult realization that we can no longer give her the time and attention she deserves. This decision has not been made lightly and comes from a place of wanting what is best for her.She would do best as the only cat in the home, as she enjoys being the center of attention and likes to be the queen of the house. She is happiest when she doesn't have to compete for affection and can fully bond with her people. She does extremely well with small children. She must be kept indoors only.Finding the right home is our top priority. If for any reason things don't work out, we require that she be returned to us. We never want her to end up in a shelter.
