You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please review our Adoption Process before filling out an application.  If you would like to try a Foster to Adopt trial, please fill out an Adoption Application.  If you are only interested in temporarily Fostering one of our rescues, please fill out a Foster Application.   Meet Lindy! We don't know what breed this beautiful dog is BUT she resembles a rat terrier. She was rescued from Ensenada, Baja, Mexico so she is likely a super mutt with chihuahua and other breeds but she is a perfect size with the most fantastic personality. She is a very young adult likely just 1 to 2yr old and already full grown. She is amazing with dogs, cats and a total love bug towards people. She is crate training and doing really well in the house training. She seems to always pick the same location to go potty in the yard. She is not a barky dog or at least she has not shown us her voice. She does well in car rides and of course she needs normal basic puppy training. She is not as active as the rat terrier pure breeds, just a normal play energy who enjoys romping around with dog friends. We hope we can find a loving forever family for her before the Holidays.Lindy is now fostered at casa de arwob along with fellow foster dogs and cats. If you'd like to meet this amazing dog please submit an application online at arwob.org once we receive an application we will text or email to schedule a call in the hopes we can move fwd to schedule a meet and greet. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. Story
Meet the most fabulous tripod! Hello there! My name is Matilda, and I'm a resilient 3-year-old, 14-pound spayed female terrier mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that can't be held back. I may be a tripod, but trust me, I've got more love and zest for life than you can imagine. I had a rough start, found in TJ walking on my hind legs due to unbearable pain in my front legs. Thanks to the care and love of my rescuers, I'm now on the road to recovery. I have a bone fungal infection that requires ongoing medical attention, and I visit the Vet Specialist regularly. Don't worry, it's not contagious, and I'm on top of my medications – Terbinafine ~$15.00 for a month's supply, Voriconazole ~$115.00 for 1 month supply, depending on market value and where purchased. Dasuquin to support joint mobility ~$41.00 for 3 months supply depending on market value and where purchased-- all to keep me happy, healthy, and moving. I am fully bathroom and leash trained. Now, let me tell you a bit about my wonderful personality. I am dog that loves people, and does not love other dogs or cats. I want to be the shining star! I'm what they call a Velcro dog – I'll follow you everywhere, matching your energy whether you're in the mood for play or relaxation. I do have some anxieties, especially around new people and animals, so patience is key. Loud trucks and pushy pets aren't my favorite, and I prefer to have my humans' love all to myself. Despite my initial reservations, once I know you, I'm the ultimate companion, ready to be by your side 24/7. I'm pretty easygoing, enjoying lounging on the couch, basking in the sun, and playing with my toys by myself. I'd thrive in a quiet home with my own space, as an only dog. In essence, I'm a gem of a dog, and I'm looking for a loving family to share my life with. If you're ready for a dog who will shower you with love and bring endless joy into your home, please consider giving me a chance. I promise, you won't regret it! If you work from home, that's even better – I need a potty break every 4ish hours. I'm okay being alone for about 4 hours, either crated or uncrated, but I do like to get my morning zoomies out and play with my stuffed animals. I should be in a home with children 10 years and older only. If you're interested in making me a part of your family, please reach out right away! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ Follow me on IG @tapinwithMatilda ##1765244##

Story
It will be all oh-kai! Hi there! My name is Kai, and I’m a 4-year-old, 43-pound spayed Terrier mix. I was scooped up in Rosario, Mexico, where I was found underweight and living on the streets. I’ve come a long way since then and am ready to find my furever home! I’m a total sweetheart once you’ve earned my trust. I’ll then be your best friend and will be excited every time we see each other! I’m a high-energy gal, and I enjoy being your running buddy on runs through the neighborhood. My other favorite activities include chasing my Chuckit! ball, eating, playing tug-o-war, and sniffing for treats. I’m now fully potty-trained and crate-trained. Leash training is a work in progress, though, since I tend to pull a lot. My biggest challenge, however, is my stranger danger. I tend to become anxious and on high alert once I get outside of my comfort zone. No separation anxiety here, though, especially when I’m left behind with another doggie friend to play with. My ideal household would be a quieter home that had familiar people coming in and out. I’d love a nice backyard to play in, and I’d do just fine as either the only dog or with a well-rounded, confident doggie sibling. No kitties or children, please.  Other than that, a lot of patience and love will help me become my best self! My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.   ##1143469##

Story
How this pet arrived: Dublin was brought in by their previous owner on 11/12/2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Dublin is a sensitive pup who arrived in our care showing fearful behavior and reactivity, especially in unfamiliar situations. With time, patience, and consistent support from staff, he has already shown encouraging improvement and is beginning to build trust with the people he knows. Dublin will thrive in a calm, understanding home that can continue helping him feel safe.Positive reinforcement training, predictable routines, and giving him the space to warm up at his own pace will be key to his success. Slow, structured introductions to new people and environments can also help him gain confidence. With the right guidance and plenty of love, Dublin has the potential to continue blossoming into a loyal and trusting companion. At SDHS:Dublin has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Dublin is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 20.3125 Age: 5yrs 7mths 1wks
