Story
I adopted Ziggy from an animal shelter in June. He is approximately 1 1/2 yrs old and weighs 15lbs. He is the sweetest dog and loves to play with his toys in my fenced yard. He is extremely energetic and can play for long periods without stopping. He’s very smart and knows a lot of commands but will not listen most of the time. He’s a little skittish around the house and tends to be somewhat nervous with fast movements or if something falls on the floor. Ziggy occasionally runs after my cat but only to play with her. He does have issues about entering my home from the yard which may have stemmed from prior mistreatment? He’s extremely lovable, playful and will be by your side most of the time. He thrives to play with other dogs so a home with another dog willI be ideal. I will only consider experienced dog owners as he needs strong and correct direction which I’m not well enough to give. He will be the perfect family member for someone who has the experience with a dog like my Ziggy.

Story
Butters is truly a wonderful dog. He is extremely sensitive to his owners and loves to cuddle. He doesn’t like to be picked up but on the floor or on your lap he loves a good belly rub. He is very gentle with kids as long as they are gentle with him. He doesn’t like tail pulling but absolutely loves being with the kids and around them and being pet by them. He likes other small dogs but is apprehensive to larger dogs. He doesn’t mind cats or small animals and is overall a very relaxed dog around company. He needs someone who has more time and is not out the house all day like our busy family, as he doesn’t like to be left alone for too long. He doesn’t like a crate but typically is fine in a room or house as long as the people of the home are not gone all day. Overall he truly is a wonderful dog, kind, calm and goes with the flow.

Georgie is a shy boy that is up to date on everything and even had a teeth cleaning when he was neutered. He’s the cutest boy. He’ll come around with some love and once he trusts. He’s great with all my other dogs, cats and livestock.

Story
Jackson was once homless and took in by college students, before them it seemed like he had bad owners and or possibly was abandoned. The moment I seen him, he was shivering, scared, the only one at the shelter. He looked me directly in the eyes with sparkle. I instantly asked my mom for him and she agreed, he gives me life, a purpose, and to know I saved his life. There are a lot more bad than good dog owners. He is a sweet loving dog, that comforts me, I don’t have any friends and he finds a way to cheer me up when I’m alone at night. He gives me purpose, seeing him cuddle with me at bed makes me feel proud. The reason for rehoming him is my living situation, we are a family of 7, and we’re in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have to watch the dog at all times, I’m looking to forward my life by moving out soon, and it will be to much as a college student to tackle on adulthood, student housing with a energetic dog that I’m paying to get groomed, food, maintenance, vet, dog insurance, etc
