Story
I have had Sister since she was a year old and she turns 13 on November 12, 2026. Sister is a Rat Terrier/Jack Russel Terrier mix We are from Baltimore, MD where we resided in a 3BR townhome with an ample sized back yard. My husband passed away March 2024, and I relocated to Florida in July 2024. I live in a 55+ community that allows me to have pets; but, with these 2 high energy dogs, I do not have sufficient space to accommodate them. Although I love Hank & Sister as family and companions, my mental health is suffering (grief, panic attacks, and anxiety) and I can no longer provide them with the care and attention they deserve. Sister is housebroken, needs dental care (which is scheduled for April 2026), requires "sensitive stomach" foods, and is diagnosed with a heart murmur. She recently underwent an echo-cardiogram to prepare for dental cleaning. My 2nd dog is HANK I would love to re-home them together.
