PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Grimsby 🐾🧡 I’m a 1.5-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a gentle soul, a curious heart, and so much love to give 🧡 I’m a quiet, humble boy who’s still learning just how beautiful life can be. Every day is a new adventure for me—the sights, the sounds, and all the smells. I love car rides where I can sit and watch the world go by, and nothing makes me happier than a soft breeze and a cozy place to rest When I’m not exploring, you’ll usually find me snuggled up on a blanket I’ve carefully bunched up just right. I love gentle pets, quiet moments, and hearing that I’m a good boy. Once I bond with you, I’ll proudly stay right by your side as your loyal companion 🧡 I’m smart, eager to learn, and making great progress every day. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, but I’m still building confidence—especially around loud noises and when I see other dogs on walks. I just need a patient person to guide me and help me keep growing I do best when I have structure, consistency, and daily exercise. Long morning and evening walks are my favorite way to burn off energy and feel my best My ideal home: 🧡 Active home committed to daily walks 🧡 A calm, patient adopter (retired or home often is a big plus) 🧡 A fenced yard for safe exploring 🧡 Older kids (10+) 🧡 No cats 💌 A word from my foster: “He’s an intelligent, gentle, quiet soul who just wants to be loved and guided. Once he trusts you, he will stay by your side and be the most loyal companion.” If you’re looking for a thoughtful, loyal, and loving best friend who will grow with you and stand by your side through everything… I might be your perfect match 🐾🧡 Adoption FEE: $450, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Scuttle 🐾🧡 I’m a 1-year-old Rat Terrier with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for my people If you’re looking for a dog who believes personal space is a myth… I’m your guy 😄 I’m the ultimate Velcro dog. I don’t just want to be near you—I want to be on you. Sit down for a second? I’m in your lap. Working from home? I’m your tiny coworker. Watching TV? Hope you didn’t need that lap 🧡 I’m happiest when I’m touching my person, and I’ll follow you everywhere (yes… even to the bathroom 😅). And if you just got out of the shower? Perfect—because I’ve decided it’s my life’s mission to help dry you off Even though I love being close, I have a calm, easygoing personality. I don’t need a super active lifestyle—I’d much rather spend my days cuddling, relaxing, and just being with my favorite human I’m looking for a low to moderate activity home where I can soak up all the love. I don’t need a backyard, and I’d do well with or without kids. My biggest wish is just to have someone around often who loves having a constant companion My ideal home: 🧡 Low to moderate activity level 🧡 Kids or no kids are okay 🧡 Backyard not required 🧡 Someone who LOVES a lap dog 🧡 Someone home most of the day If your idea of happiness is never sitting alone again… I’ve been waiting for you 🥹🐾🧡 Adoption FEE: $500, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. Story
Meet Lexi - Speed, Smarts & a Whole Lot of Heart! If you blink, you might miss her… because Lexi is quite possibly the fastest dog at the sanctuary This beautiful black-and-white girl is a stunning mix of brains and athleticism. We suspect a blend of terrier and herding breeds (we think Rat Terrier / Border Collie vibes, maybe even a touch of Staffordshire), which makes her incredibly sharp, alert, and full of personality. Lexi is a true hunter at heart, curious about everything, always tuned in, always thinking. She would absolutely thrive with an active person or family who enjoys walks, playtime, and giving her little “jobs” to do. What makes Lexi special: • Lightning fast and super athletic • Very intelligent and quick to learn • Loyal and deeply connected once she bonds • Playful, curious, and full of life • Around 50 lbs of pure energy and love She’s the kind of dog who will keep you moving, keep you smiling, and keep you on your toes in the best possible way. And when the day winds down? That same energetic girl turns into a companion who just wants to be near her person. Ideal home: Lexi would do best with someone who understands active, intelligent dogs - someone who will give her structure, exercise, and engagement. She can be a couch potato also, she loves to snuggle with you and watch a movie. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, brains, and a spark that makes every day a little more exciting - Lexi might be your girl.

Story
Meet Bret! Bret is a 1-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier mix who weighs about 35 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is currently located in Spring Hill. Bret's foster is willing to travel within 2 hours of Spring Hill, FL for an approved adoption applicant! Bret is a lovely, affectionate boy with tons of energy and enthusiasm for life. He absolutely loves to run and play, and he’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. With his intelligence and drive, he would make a fantastic sports prospect or thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, running, water activities, or other outdoor adventures. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having another active canine companion to help burn off his energy. He is not a good fit for cats because he plays rough with them. His experience with small children is unknown. Bret is crate trained and leash trained. He heels well on a leash when given reminders. Bret also knows how to "auto-sit" when you stop walking. He has learned many other commands in training such as down, stay, come, and leave it. Bret appears to be house trained. Bret graduated from basic obedience and intermediate obedience. He is now working on advanced obedience. If you’re looking for a fun, athletic, and affectionate companion to share your adventures, Bret may be the perfect match!
