Meet Raptor, the puppy who likes to pretend he’s the cool, calm, collected member of the group… until you get him one-on-one. Around the other puppies, Raptor acts like the laid-back observer. But the moment he has you to himself? Surprise! The chill guy disappears and the attention-loving goofball comes out. If you stop petting him, he will absolutely let you know about it. Raptor believes attention should be continuous and uninterrupted. His favorite hobby is shoe sabotage. Raptor specializes in sneaking up while you're standing there minding your business and carefully untying your shoelaces. It’s a very important job and he takes it seriously. Raptor gets along well with his siblings and lives with four adult dogs and four cats. The dogs are cool with him, and he would very much like to be friends with the cats… but the cats have not yet approved his application. If you're looking for a puppy who is equal parts chill, silly, affectionate, and mildly mischievous, Raptor is ready to keep you entertained. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Sammy (9 yrs, 13 lbs) is a sweet companion who will thrive in a quiet home with outdoor space and no children. We are moving internationally in June and sadly won't be able to bring her along. Sammy does well with other dogs in the home; she grew up around an older dog, and frequently stays with family who have a dog. Sammy is very smart, trainable, loves to play, and enjoys walks. On a nice day, she likes to spend hours out in the yard. She is currently on daily medication support to manage anxiety, which has helped minimize barking, reactivity to sudden noises, and general stress. On a day-to-day basis she is happy and engaged, but vet visits and stressful situations may require support (e.g. extra anxiety medication). Sammy completed a reward-based behavior modification package with Plucky Paws at our home and did very well. She made a lot of progress in her uneasiness with strangers by using training games and her food guarding was reduced by using enrichment feeding at mealtimes.

Lola is my name. I love all and want to be friends with everyone. I am mischievous and will get into trouble just for the attention. I am still very young and eager to explore new things. I want a loving family who will take me on adventures, then love on me while winding down. I don't like it when you focus on other dogs and sometimes I push them out of the way so I can be the center of attention! I have the sweetest face and my "love to be with you" attitude is the best kind to have! I am a medium sized girl and that makes me super PORTABLE! Take me with you to the beach, the mountains, the BATHROOM... I don't care where we go, as long as you take me with you!! I'm a energetic and driven girl with a strong prey drive, particularly chickens, birds, small animals and cats. I'll need a home without these types of pets to ensure everyone's safety. Benji is a sweet little guy with a gentle soul. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, his loving personality quickly shines through. Before coming to the rescue, Benji lived life outdoors and had some hair loss, but now he’s on the mend—his scruffy coat is growing back in, and it just adds to his charm! He’s currently learning all the good stuff about being a spoiled house pup, like potty training, walking on a leash, and discovering how amazing cozy beds and fun toys can be. Sweet momma, Utopia, and her five day old pups were hours away from being euthanized in a small Texas animal shelter before they were rescued. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days until she realized they were safe. Now she is a total lovebug! Utopia needs a patient family. She is shy and will take some time and lots of treats to be comfortable in her new home. She would do best with another confident dog to show her the ropes. She loves to run and play with other dogs so acclimating with them should be no problem. She is also cat friendly. Utopia does well in the car and walks great on a leash. She's ready for adventure and a love that lasts forever! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX adoption only)
