Story
Benny is a 6yr old neutered male Rat Terrier. He weighs about 12 lbs. We pulled Benny from our local shelter. This guy has a charming personality with an occasional terrier outburst. He loves attention and snuggles. His terrier side comes out when you mess with his toys and he doesn't want you messing with his toys. Usually a firm no changes his mind. He would be best suited with older children who can understand this about him. He is a real cuddlebug and will happily trot next to you on a walk. He has been fine with older children and other dogs. We are unsure about cats . He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $300. If interested in meeting this cutie, please email heritagefarms08@gmail.com or call the foster mom Lisa at 419-591-6621. They are being fostered in Liberty Center, Ohio. When emailing please include information about you and your family including other pets. Current vet information is also appreciated.

Story
LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY. Peabody is a 2-year-old Rat Terrier mix (we think). He was pulled into our rescue from an over-crowded, rural, KY shelter because he was not tolerating the environment well and was shut down. He was terrified when first arriving at his fosters home. It took time…but not much. We have video evidence that he is a Velcro mix. He likes dogs about his size, but gets passive-aggressive with bigger dogs. Meaning he runs his mouth. He would have no problem with another, playful dog or being the one-and-only. He likes to watch TV on the couch, beside you, with his eyes closed. He will be the big spoon every night and knows how to fit perfectly into the small of your back. Peabody will likely need the expected 3 days to decompress in a new environment. But once he has stopped fretting, he’ll be melting like butter in your lap. We think Peabody needs to find that doesn’t require transport, so applications must be local to TN. I need to be adopted in Crossville, Tennessee. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Peabody's adoption fee is $300.If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Princess Lil’ Bits is 7 years old and was my step dad’s doggy before he passed away. I have had this pet about two years. Looking to rehome her and her boyfriend Cha Cha Charlie (6 years old, Rat Terrier Chihuahua mix) to a no pet home and without small or young children. I am unsure of how well the Lil’ Bits is with children other then my nieces and nephews who helped my step dad care for them while he was alive. Looking for a quiet home, possibly a semi-retired couple. Lil’ Bits and Cha Cha Charlie loves lots of attention, affection, belly rubs, and to play in the yard or the house. Also, like to snuggle during naps, or in your bed at night, sometimes they sneak on the bed to notify me they need to use the bathroom.Needs someone who can throw a toy to them and retrieve it for them as they don’t always bring the toy back to the owner (me). High energy, full of lots of love and nose nibbles or I call them love nibbles. Special needs are medication before nail trims or anal gland.
