Cookie is a 1.5-year-old dog who had originally been spayed and vaccinated and was scheduled to be put back on the streets as part of Puerto Rico's trap/neuter/release initiative. But the person who fostered her during her recovery realized how wonderful she is and wanted to give her a real chance — Cookie is such a good girl and truly deserves a forever home. She is a little girl, about 16 pounds who gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and is very, very affectionate. She’s gentle, loving, and ready for a family who will give her the stable, happy life she was meant to have. Let's get Cookie a home for Christmas! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Lola is my name. I love all and want to be friends with everyone. I am mischievous and will get into trouble just for the attention. I am still very young and eager to explore new things. I want a loving family who will take me on adventures, then love on me while winding down. I don't like it when you focus on other dogs and sometimes I push them out of the way so I can be the center of attention! I have the sweetest face and my "love to be with you" attitude is the best kind to have! I am a medium sized girl and that makes me super PORTABLE! Take me with you to the beach, the mountains, the BATHROOM... I don't care where we go, as long as you take me with you!! I'm a energetic and driven girl with a strong prey drive, particularly chickens, birds, small animals and cats. I'll need a home without these types of pets to ensure everyone's safety. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
