You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs. Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Daisey is an incredibly sweet, loving dog who adores everyone she meets. She is currently learning basic training with her foster family and is eager to please. Daisey also enjoys car rides and makes a wonderful companion for outings. She dosent seem to mind cats. Her ideal forever home will include another dog for companionship and a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and burn off energy. Angel is a tail-wagging bundle of energy who lights up every room she enters. She loves attention, but what she really adores is running, playing, and spending time with other dogs. Super energetic, Angel would thrive on walks, hikes, or just zooming around in a securely fenced yard. Meet Holland: Holland is estimated to be about a 2 year old (as of February 2026) rat terrier / kelpie mix (best guess) that weighs 23 pounds. Holland was found running around Memphis with 2 traveling companions. The trio were brought into a shelter and seemed shy. Our rescue was able to get them into a foster home where they have opened up. Holland is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Holland is a cute, affectionate little guy. Holland loves to snuggle up to you at night and gets along well with other dogs in the foster home. Holland doesn't bark excessively and isn't destructive - he’s a great buddy to have around. Holland is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need some patience while adjusting to a new method. We would love for Holland to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely. Holland is up to date on his shots and neutered.
