They sleep underneath the blankets. They are lap dogs. Love cats, kids, people. We'll trained. Very sweet dogs. Tootsie is 11 pounds and 5 years old. I am itty bitty weighing in at about 8 pounds, approximately 1 year old, with a large and in charge personality, hence my big ears. Sometimes I think I can hear human thoughts with these things! My foster Mom says I am unique, and a great listener (it’s kind of physically impossible not to be) and here is what else she has to say about me. Lola is the perfect little BFF, who will follow by your side everywhere you go and is ALWAYS ready to intently listen to what you have to say. Lola currently lives in a foster home with 4 other male dogs (3 large and 1 small) and 2 children (ages 3 and . But don’t let the small frame fool you-Lola has the heart of a lion. Due to her size, she would do best in a home with older children who can understand and respect her small stature. Although Lola is dog friendly, she does require time to warm up. But once she is comfortable, she is very excited to have friends! Lola is doing super great with house training and when kept on a schedule she has no accidents. She is also crate trained although she sometimes has a bit to say for the first few minutes in the crate. A mini protest if you will, to try to get you to see things her way. This is short lived and she will snuggle in for the night or the short times she cannot be supervised in the home. Lola has a young at heart personality, loves to play and is always very excited to see you! She uses her whole little body wiggles to express her excitement. She is also very fond of treats and uses her aerodynamic ears for maximum treat detection! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs. Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Cash and Gizmo are two very very sweet boys! They both love people and get along well with other dogs. They are both 1 year old, Cash and Gizmo adore each other and have been together since the very start.
