Meet Raptor, the puppy who likes to pretend he’s the cool, calm, collected member of the group… until you get him one-on-one. Around the other puppies, Raptor acts like the laid-back observer. But the moment he has you to himself? Surprise! The chill guy disappears and the attention-loving goofball comes out. If you stop petting him, he will absolutely let you know about it. Raptor believes attention should be continuous and uninterrupted. His favorite hobby is shoe sabotage. Raptor specializes in sneaking up while you're standing there minding your business and carefully untying your shoelaces. It’s a very important job and he takes it seriously. Raptor gets along well with his siblings and lives with four adult dogs and four cats. The dogs are cool with him, and he would very much like to be friends with the cats… but the cats have not yet approved his application. Mila is a 8 year old dog with a lot of energy. She loves to run around and play in the backyard. She gets along well with other dogs once she gets used to them. She has been around plenty of different dogs as she has been regularly boarded. Mila does tend to bark at other dogs that she cannot get to but she really just wants to play with them. Unfortunately due to unexpectly being a single parent that works 12 hour shifts, Mila is not getting the life that she deserves. She needs plenty of attention that is very difficult to give her with 2 kids and a full time job.

I don't like it when you focus on other dogs and sometimes I push them out of the way so I can be the center of attention! I have the sweetest face and my "love to be with you" attitude is the best kind to have! I am a medium sized girl and that makes me super PORTABLE! Take me with you to the beach, the mountains, the BATHROOM... I don't care where we go, as long as you take me with you!! Sweet momma, Utopia and her five day old pups were one day away from being euthanized in a small south Texas animal control. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days before she realized they were safe. NOW she is THE sweetest and most loving girl!! She needs a patient family, she is so happy with her foster mom but needs a confident and easy going family. She likely would do best with another confident dog.... she just needs to know you before she will just relax and get comfortable in your home. She is worth the wait :) She is doing good with potty training and is good with dogs and cats. She likes going for drives and walks good on a leash. She's got the cutest little tuft of fur on her head. She's smart and likes to play. Mama is likely a long haired/wire haired dachshund/terrier mix and the pups have the low rider qualities with heeler markings- ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! All pups adopted, just mama waiting!!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX adoption only)
