Story
Kipp has gone through way too much in his little 5 months of life so far. He was found chained up without any shelter. Sadly, that was the only life he had ever known. He was nothing but skin and bones. His flea infestation was so severe that we honestly didn't know if he would survive the night. 💔 But Kipp had other plans! This boy is a FIGHTER! 💪🐶. Despite everything he has endured, Kipp doesn't hold a grudge against the world. He absolutely LOVES people and greets everyone he meets with a heart full of love. It's hard to imagine how a dog who has been treated so poorly can still have so much trust and affection for humans. Kipp has made an amazing recovery, and now it's time for the next chapter of his life! He is scheduled to be neutered October 5th and will soon be ready for adoption. Kipp is a happy, energetic boy who has a lot of catching up to do! After spending his life at the end of a chain, he deserves the freedom to run, play, explore, and enjoy everything a dog should experience. ❤️ His ideal home will be an active family who can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and the love he has been missing his entire life. 💲 Adoption Fee: $350 Your puppy's adoption fee includes: 🐶 Spay/neuter 💉 Age-appropriate vaccinations 🪱 Deworming ❤️ Current heartworm and flea prevention 📍 Microchip 🚌 Transport to you A little bit about us:  We are a Mississippi-based rescue dedicated to saving dogs and cats who might otherwise never have the opportunity.  Every month, we transport animals to the North Fayette PetSmart in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania. We have an amazing partnership with them!  Our cats and kittens stay at the adoption center there and are available for local adoption. Our dogs and puppies are typically pre-adopted before transport and go directly to their new families when they arrive.  You can follow us on Facebook and check out our previous transports. We look forward to hearing from you!

Story
Meet Shaggy! Shaggy is a 4-year-old neutered Rat Terrier mix with a sweet personality and a pretty easygoing approach to life. He's happy to make a friend and warms up quickly to new people.  Shaggy has a nice low-medium energy level. He'll run across the house in a moment of excitement or do a wander around the yard, but most of the time he's happy to watch the world go by outside or curl up in a comfortable bed and snooze for hours. He's not a dog who needs constant entertainment and is perfectly happy relaxing while you go about your day or work away from home. He's also very well crate trained and seems to genuinely consider it his safe place to retreat to. Food is definitely the way to Shaggy's heart! He's an enthusiastic eater, which also makes treats a great way to build his confidence and work on new skills. He'd probably be a very good little scentwork dog if you're looking for a buddy to develop a new hobby with. He has an independent streak and isn't overly clingy, but he's happy to go along with your suggestions most of the time.  Shaggy has lived alongside dogs and cats. He does need a little time and personal space when meeting new canine friends, and he appreciates dogs who don't rush into introductions. He can coexist just fine, but would like to decide when he's ready to exchange sniffs.  Shaggy will be a lovely companion for someone looking for a friendly, moderately active smaller dog.  ##2889373##

Story
🐾 Rocky: Small Dog, BIG Feelings Rocky is a sensitive little guy who is finding shelter life pretty darn overwhelming. When he’s nervous, he puts on his toughest “I am VERY intimidating” performance—which is especially impressive coming from someone this size. 😂 We think Rocky may show a whole different side of himself once he’s somewhere quiet and feels safe. He’s looking for a patient, understanding person who will give him time to decompress, build trust, and discover that the world isn’t quite so scary. ❤️
