Harry and Eleanor?? Such SERIOUS names for a couple of goofy pups! We came from a somewhat sad and seriously MESSED up place but now we may be a little shy but we are definitely NOT SERIOUS :) We are JRT/Rat Terrier mixed siblings, each of us is cute and loving in our own right. Under 15# of absolute adorableness is who we are. We are both still a little nervous, I mean we came from a pretty horrific situation so know that we were not handled and loved on until the last month or so in our foster home... but we are learning so much and having a blast! We are great together but do not have to be adopted together. We will need at least another dog with us to show us the ropes and keep us company in our new family. We are good with everyone so that will be pretty easy :) Look one of us up and ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!! Ringo Star came with the other three members of his group from a stay in the puppy prison in Kansas City, Hey, hey, hey.We don't know why he was there but it had been too many hard days night and their time was up. Help was on the way.This group had a ticket to ride with a magical mystery tour of transporters who got them to Russell Rescue.Russell Rescue us glad all over that every little thing has been done medically  Let's come together and not let him Ringo down.     Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Georgie, aka George Harrison is doing great! Little man thoroughly enjoyed himself in the snow storm! He hates vacuums but loves cuddling w my pup KK and staying warm next to her! He enjoys stealing carrots and PB filled kong toys. He has such a big personality for such a tiny sweet boy !This is George Harrison!!! He’s been in a foster for about a month now. He is still so incredibly shy, but his personality is slowly coming out! His favorite time of the day is feeding time, where he gives me quite a few spins out of excitement. But he also enjoys our trips outside where he can sniff out everything in the neighborhood. He needs a home with a really patient and loving owner. Lil Klinger has a name that suites him to a T!  It means “courageous” and he is such a Lil courageous guy indeed.  But to add to this courage, he is also a confident, intelligent boy that has endured the hard times when his human family could struggle no longer and keep him. He was reluctantly surrendered to our rescue and we have delighted in see what a truly beloved boy he is.  This dog would fit in anywhere, anytime, anyway.  Lil Klinger is a 2 year old, 27 pound Jack Russell mix boy that is living in a foster home with two big foster fur brothers that don’t have anything ahead of Lil Klinger.   He can and does run with the best of them. He’s housetrained, loves car rides, happily accompanies his foster dad on his long walks and the active adventures his human dad loves to go on.  This boy, Klinger loves to explore and live life to the fullest with lots of new experiences. He embraces all the new things and enjoys playing with his toys and is ALWAYS ready for playtime.  If you are looking for a couch potatoe then Klinger would qualify only on short term moments.  He is a great and active breed that makes a wonderful family dog that you will spend time with and actively seek the exercise time that he needs.   He would be a wonderful dog for a  young family, young couple or a  young single person that is a runner, an explorer and a dog owner that might even want to do some agility activities together.  Of course Klinger is neutered , UTD on all vaccinations, microchipped and on heartworm prevention with a clear fecal and wormings done. we admit we are partial when it comes to Lil Klinger and he is one of the cuter and definitely the nicest small dog you could find or consider to add in your life. Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Pai Pai!  He is a super sweet almost 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix.  Pai Pai came to Critter Cavalry with his senior brother and adult sister when his mom went into a memory care facility.  It did not take long for him to settle into his foster home though.  Pai Pai loves other dogs and was thrilled to have a couple of young buddies to paly with.  He gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and he is also good with cats.  Pai Pai previously lived with 2 cats.  He does not meet a stranger whether you have 2 or 4 legs.  He happily goes up to new people for a 'hello' sniff and some petting and his tail is always wagging when he meets new dogs.  Pai Pai loves to be outside running around in his fenced in yard.  When not playing with his buddies you will find Pai Pai amusing himself with a toy.  This great little boy is a treasure!!  He is housebroken and doggie door trained.  He walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks (more people and doggies to meet).  You can take Pai Pai on adventures with you as he rides well in the car and love to go!  Pai Pai would love a home with a buddy to play with and a fenced in yard.  If you are an active family or couple looking for a sweet doggie that will enjoy an active lifestyle then you have found him in Pai Pai.  Pai Pai is neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  To be considered for Pai Pai's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  May 13, 2024, 7:19 pm
