Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We rescued Lola from Memphis Animal Control on 4-26-25. She was found close to their facility, with another dog and was very underweight. She becomes more beautiful by the day.   Lola is a sweet, laid back girl, who enjoys the simple pleasures in life (napping and eating) and is ready to find her forever family to retire with.  She’s 8-10 years old, about 40 lbs, and potty trained. She isn’t crate trained in her foster home, but sleeps peacefully at night in her room.    Lola enjoys going to Petco and meeting new people, she gets along with other dogs, but does try to chase cats, so is likely best suited for a home with no cats, unless the situation can be managed.   She does have some back issues and requires daily pain medication (currently less than $20 a month). We believe a calm home, with no small children would be best.    If you would like to apply to adopt Lola, click on the Adoption Application page!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:05 pm

Story
Meet Raptor, the puppy who likes to pretend he’s the cool, calm, collected member of the group… until you get him one-on-one. Around the other puppies, Raptor acts like the laid-back observer. But the moment he has you to himself? Surprise! The chill guy disappears and the attention-loving goofball comes out. If you stop petting him, he will absolutely let you know about it. Raptor believes attention should be continuous and uninterrupted. His favorite hobby is shoe sabotage. Raptor specializes in sneaking up while you're standing there minding your business and carefully untying your shoelaces. It’s a very important job and he takes it seriously. Raptor gets along well with his siblings and lives with four adult dogs and four cats. The dogs are cool with him, and he would very much like to be friends with the cats… but the cats have not yet approved his application. If you're looking for a puppy who is equal parts chill, silly, affectionate, and mildly mischievous, Raptor is ready to keep you entertained. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Wilbur, the puppy equivalent of the middle child who somehow keeps the whole household running smoothly. While his siblings are busy competing for titles like Boss of the Litter, Prison Break Specialist, and Professional Shoelace Saboteur, Wilbur has taken on the role of peacekeeper and all-around good boy. He’s playful without being wild, confident without being bossy, and chill without being boring. Basically, Wilbur has mastered the art of going with the flow no matter what the rest of the puppy crew is up to. Wilbur enjoys playing with his siblings, hanging out with the other dogs in the house, and being part of the action without needing to be the center of attention. He currently lives with four adult dogs and four cats, so he’s already getting lots of practice sharing space with a full house. If you’re looking for a puppy who is friendly, adaptable, and happy to join whatever adventure the day brings, Wilbur might just be your perfect match. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Knox, the playful little guy who proudly serves as Vice President of Puppy Shenanigans. While his sister Dot may run the gang, Knox is right behind her making sure the fun never stops. He’s a happy, affectionate pup who loves attention and is not afraid to tell you exactly what’s on his mind. Got a thought? Knox has one too. Probably several. Knox’s most impressive talent is his ongoing attempt to escape Mount Puppy Pen, a daring climbing challenge he approaches with the determination of a tiny Alcatraz escape artist. Security improvements are currently under review. He’s playful, social, and enjoys wrestling with his siblings and the other dogs in the house. Knox also lives with cats and would probably love to be friends… if they’d stop giving him the cold shoulder. If you're looking for a puppy who is fun, expressive, affectionate, and slightly convinced he's part mountain goat, Knox might be your guy. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi, I’m Kipper (the big little gentleman) Hello there! My name is *Kipper*, and I’m a 25-pound Jack Russell–Rat Terrier mix with excellent manners and a very serious love of snacks. If you have a treat, I will sit like the most distinguished gentleman you’ve ever met. I don’t rush greatness. I’m about six years old, very smart (not to brag… but also yes to brag), and I really listen when my people talk. I like understanding what’s going on — it helps me be the best boy possible. My favorite things:• Racing and wrestling with my little brother, Spike• Corn-cobbing his neck (it’s how I show love)• Sniffing adventures and pretending I’m on an important hunt• Lap time and cozy TV watching• Being told I’m a good boy (accurate) I can be a little cautious when meeting new people, especially men, but once I know you’re safe, I am loyal, affectionate, and deeply devoted. I take my job of loving my family very seriously. I came from a home where we were very loved, but our mom got sick and couldn’t care for us anymore. Right now we’re staying with our stepsister, but her big dogs think they run the world… and honestly, they do. So my brother and I are hoping to find a calm home where we can stay together. Because here’s the important part:I don’t just come with a personality — I come with Spike. He’s my teammate, my wrestling partner, and my favorite little guy in the whole world.   Meet my little brother, *Spike* (certified sweetheart) This is Spike, my 10-pound sidekick and professional kiss-sneaker. He’s about four years old and a bit shy at first, but once he trusts you… surprise! You’ve been kissed. Spike is very expressive. When we go outside, he tells the entire universe how excited he is. He loves:• Racing me like it’s the Olympics• Pouncing with dramatic flair• Sniffing absolutely everything• Rolling in grass like it’s a spa treatment• Quiet cuddles and lap time• Being near me (he pretends it’s for protection, but I think he just loves me) He’s gentle, sweet, and very emotionally intelligent. If you’re having a soft moment, he will be right there for you. Like me, Spike can be unsure of strangers at first, but he warms up with patience and kindness. We both crate beautifully together — we rest when it’s quiet time and save our fun for walks, meals, and playtime. We are curious about cats and would probably try to chase them, but truly we’re just little explorers at heart.   Our promise We love each other deeply. We nap together, play together, and watch TV together. We share a crate, share adventures, and share comfort when things feel new or scary. If you open your home to us, you won’t just get two dogs. You’ll get:• A gentleman and his tiny best friend• Built-in entertainment• Loyal companionship• Double the cuddles• A ready-made family We’re looking for a foster or forever home where we can stay side by side — just the way we’ve always been. If you have a lap, a little patience, and maybe a treat… we’re already halfway in love with you. Love,Kipper (and Spike, who says “Hi” and would like to kiss you now) Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step. Story
6 years old | Affectionate | Loyal CompanionCertified Velcro Snuggle BugRandy is a 6-year-old sweetheart who has been thriving in his foster home since January 17. He’s a calm, loving boy who forms strong bonds with his people and truly enjoys being close, if you’re looking for a dog who wants to be with you, Randy is your guy.He has been around my almost-5-year-old son and has done wonderfully.
