Ringo Star came with the other three members of his group from a stay in the puppy prison in Kansas City, Hey, hey, hey.We don't know why he was there but it had been too many hard days night and their time was up. Help was on the way.This group had a ticket to ride with a magical mystery tour of transporters who got them to Russell Rescue.Russell Rescue us glad all over that every little thing has been done medically  Let's come together and not let him Ringo down.     Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Georgie, aka George Harrison is doing great! Little man thoroughly enjoyed himself in the snow storm! He hates vacuums but loves cuddling w my pup KK and staying warm next to her! He enjoys stealing carrots and PB filled kong toys. He has such a big personality for such a tiny sweet boy !This is George Harrison!!! He’s been in a foster for about a month now. He is still so incredibly shy, but his personality is slowly coming out! His favorite time of the day is feeding time, where he gives me quite a few spins out of excitement. But he also enjoys our trips outside where he can sniff out everything in the neighborhood. He needs a home with a really patient and loving owner. He takes a while to come out of his shell, but when he does he is full of life. Amos Herman the 3 legged wonder amazes me with his abilities. He loves his new baby sister and they play several times a day. Tonight they were playing and next thing I knew he had jumped up in the bed.Sweet and handsome little 3-legged Amos. When he first came to us his leg was severely injured, and in need of amputation. His elbow was shattered by a cruel human  who shot him and he was allowed to suffer for weeks. This made it impossible to save his leg. Poor guy has already adjusted to walking on three legs and does not limit his walking abilities. He is doing well and enjoys playing with his foster siblings.Amos loves to sleep on the couch with the other dogs, and is adjusting to a leash. Loves,  loves and loves food, treats, and toys. Would do great in a home with other dogs. Still a little timid around people, but never growls, bites, or snips. He just needs to feel safe and learn that he can trust people which is to be expected after all he's been through. His current foster Mom states she is able to pick him up and let him be a lap baby. Amos is crate trained, eats in his crate and when he is told to get in the bed, he will get in his crate.  He's around 6 years old and 20 pounds! He will make a great addition to any family!!
