Story
Meet Raleigh, a super sweet and handsome 12-pound, 7-8-year-old rat terrier mix with a unique, funny-looking tail. Despite a rough start, Raleigh is now eager for a brighter future. He's a loving companion, thriving with other calm animals, and calm household, or as the sole pet in a home. Raleigh, having overcome being underweight, a broken leg, and heartworms, is a resilient soul ready for a caring adopter. While his healed leg doesn't currently bother him, future considerations may be needed, so potential adopters should be prepared for any financial responsibilities. That could include either amputation or arthritis medicine. Raleigh is a love bug who adores belly scratches and values being close to his people. Consider giving Raleigh the loving home he truly deserves, and you'll be rewarded with his affection and sweet puppy eyes every day. Also, Raleigh's resilience shines even brighter with the special note that he had a grade five out of six heart murmur, requiring a visit to a cardiologist in Grapevine before beginning heartworm treatment. Remarkably, after the first heartworm treatment, his murmur level decreased, showcasing his determination and response to care. While there's still a journey ahead, Raleigh's progress is a testament to his strength and the love and support he's received. Regular follow-ups with the cardiologist will ensure Raleigh continues to thrive in a caring home. Please understand that his heart condition may or may not shorten his lifespan. There are no guarantees either way. Consider being part of Raleigh's journey and providing him with the love and comfort he deserves. His adoption fee is $125 complete your application today at https://chloespetrescue.org/application

Story
Pretty Poppy is a 1-year-old rat terrier, who weighs 20 lbs. Poppy loves her people and is happy to curl in your lap on the couch or lie under the covers at your feet at night. She craves human attention so much that she's not happy to be left alone for long periods and if confined to a kennel, she'll cry and bark. However, she would make a great companion for someone who is home most of the day, and she's house-trained and can be trusted to have free rein indoors while you're busy in your home office.   A born leader, Poppy is always at the frontline of anything that looks exciting. Her sense of adventure can lead her two canine foster brothers down a path of naughtiness by amping up the energy levels, or it can lead her to dig her way under the fence if she's not watched. Her queen bee attitude can lead her to sometimes guard her food and bed space from her brothers. While she loves her 4-year-old human sister dearly, she can get snappy if she's pestered when she's resting. Any children would need to be mature enough to be respectful of her space and calm in their movement so as not to get her overly aroused.   Poppy may not have been treated so kindly in her first year of life. The vet has noted that a leg was broken sometime in the past but that the little limp, caused by the break having healed on its own, is not problematic. Poppy also gets frightened if she hears a loud, sudden noise--even playful yelling. And if she thinks she's being scolded, she might tinkle on the floor.   But honestly now who could scold a face like that? Be the person who helps Poppy blossom into the lovely young lady she is meant to be. She's already a love and she's just going to get better and better. Of that we're positive. See more photos of Poppy at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/poppy .Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
Meet Pete, a playful and joyful little boy who knows how to have a good time. Whether it's wrestling with balls, toys, or anything that smells enticing, Pete is up for the challenge. He's even the type to stop and smell the roses, enjoying life's simple pleasures. While Pete can entertain himself, he thrives when another dog is around to share in the fun. After all the excitement of smelling and playing, he's happy to curl up in your arms, on your lap, or by your side for a relaxing "chill" session. Pete's personality is nothing short of huge, promising to bring amazement wherever he goes. This lovable pup is fond of kids, dogs, and anyone willing to spend quality time with him during the day. Despite his adventurous past of wandering around train tracks and causing a traffic pause when he was found, Pete is not a daredevil – he's just a guy on the lookout for a loving family to call his own. If you're ready for a bundle of joy with a big heart, Pete is the perfect addition to your home. ##1872059##

They named her Bobbie, in memory of their dog Bobby who was rescued from the same area and who had recently passed away. Since being rescued, Bobbie has gone from being shy an scared to being happy and playful. This little nugget would thrive with another doggo so they can play all day! Story
We aren't entirely sure what breed this little guy is. But boy is he cute. He has short legs and a long body which makes us think corgi and he has the head of a terrier. He is 17lbs and 4 years old. He came to us after his elderly owner was not able to care for him. Tuck is a lot of fun, very active and loves the outdoors. He can be a little timid in a new situation, but he loves to be held and snuggle. He is great with other small dogs and fine with cats.

Story
I've come to the difficult decision that it's in the best interest of both my dog if I can find a good home for him. We have had him 3 years and he is great but the dynamics of my life have changed too much to properly care for him. I do not want him to end up in a shelter or worse. I want to find a home that will play with him, rub his belly and take care of him. He is very loving and affectionate. He likes to be with his people and is home trained and typically free to roam . He is a rat terrier mix. He is about 5 years old and has been well maintained. He is neutered
