Story
Scout is an 8.5-month-old Terrier mix with an adorable white-and-brown coat and the cutest perky ears that are always standing at attention! This handsome young pup is full of personality, curiosity, and all the playful energy you`d expect from a growing puppy.Scout loves to run, play, and let loose with the occasional case of the zoomies, so he`d thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and burn off some of that youthful enthusiasm. He`s still learning his manners and would benefit from continued leash training, as he can get a little excited on walks and may jump up to say hello when he`s happy to see you. While Scout can be a bit shy when meeting new people, it doesn`t take long for his sweet, affectionate personality to shine through. Once he knows you`re a friend, he`s ready for pets, playtime, and plenty of companionship. He`s already mastered the `sit` command and is eager to keep learning with a family willing to help him grow into the amazing dog he`s meant to be.Scout enjoys the company of other confident dogs, though like many puppies, he can sometimes be a little enthusiastic and get in their personal space. Because of this, a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is required to ensure everyone is a good match. If you`re looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who will keep you smiling with his goofy antics and melt your heart with those adorable ears, Scout is ready to find his forever family!AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AT THE DOG STOP IN THE COLONY!

Story
This adorable little girl is just over a year old and weighs about 12.5 pounds. She’s fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped, and making great progress with her potty training. Her adoption fee is only $25! She came from a hoarding situation where dogs were kept in crates in a small apartment, so crates aren’t her favorite place to be. But, it sometimes can be her safety place. Understandably, she’s still a bit nervous and learning to trust. Sometimes she’s too scared to be caught, but with patience, gentleness, and time, she’ll come around and show her true loving nature. Because of her background, she’s not a good fit for apartment living—she’ll need a secure backyard where she can safely explore and feel comfortable. She does best with dogs her size or larger, and would thrive in a calm, understanding home that’s willing to let her open up at her own pace. She’s not an “instant dog”—she’ll need time to trust and adjust—but once she feels safe, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the safe, loving home she deserves? Complete your application today at https://chloespetrescue.org/application

Rosie is looking for a loving foster home where they can rest and recover while receiving medical treatment. Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: Approximately 2 Weeks (The foster timeframe may vary depending on recovery and any follow-up medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Rosie is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. While recovering, they may have symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and nasal/eye discharge. Because URI can be contagious to other dogs, we recommend keeping them separated from resident dogs until they have fully recovered. They will go home with medication and all the supplies needed for their care. Once treatment is complete, they will return to Operation Kindness for their spay/neuter surgery and adoption. How to take this pet home:Adopt: Rosie is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows prospective adopters to take pets home before they are available for adoption.Visit Operation Kindness and speak with our Client Services team. BREED-Rat Terrier Mix; SEX-Male; SIZE-Small; WEIGHT-13 lbs.; AGE-Approximately 4 Years; SPAY/NEUTER-Yes; HOUSETRAINED-Currently Uses Doggie Door; GOOD WITH KIDS-Yes; GOOD WITH DOGS-Yes; GOOD WITH CATS-Unknown; HISTORY-Rescued From A Local Shelter; ADOPTION FEE-$250   Gus is truly one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He has a calm, easygoing nature, and his idea of a perfect day is simply being close to his person—curled up in your lap or resting quietly by your side. Gus greets everyone with joy and genuine happiness, and his gentle presence has a way of making you feel instantly loved. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and warmly welcomes new fosters into his home with a kind and patient spirit. Gus does have an autoimmune condition that causes some crusting around his eyes and the sides of his mouth. This means he will need a little extra daily care, including gently cleaning his eyes and mouth with a warm cloth, as well as taking daily medication. The medication is quite manageable, with an average monthly cost of about $20. With this simple routine, Gus remains comfortable and continues to thrive. If you’re looking for a truly special dog—one who will return your love with endless affection and quiet companionship—Gus may be the perfect match for you.March 7, 2026, 2:41 pm
