Story
Her name is Reba, she is gentlest, red-glowing baby hound girl with a soft spirit that will melt your heart from first hug, and yes, she gives full-on hugs. Right now she is mastering the art of a move that causes spontaneous sessions of sun-up belly rubs. Reba is estimated to be about 5 months old, weighs around 30 lbs and is growing, and she is likely some kind of hound mix (best guess, as always with rescue pups). Reba’s gentle nature and soft approach to everything means she can come across as shy when you first meet her but within a beat she has warmed up to your heart and is offering sweet little kisses. Insider tip- treats do help her feel brave and fast-tracks the love. Want to see Reba in action? Head to YouTube for “Reba | Belly Rub Baby” https://youtu.be/_r3pwsqaN3k Reba is a growing puppy so of course she is still growing and learning new skills. Currently, Reba is building her confidence on leash. In familiar areas she can walk along just fine, but in new places she likes to take it slow and does occasionally decide its time for a little sit-break to observe. The encouraging part is how quickly she is learning and we can see that she isn’t a “nope” girl, she’s a “give me a minute” girl, and practice will go a long way. With other dogs, she is polite and gentle, while being a little reserved with the big, high-energy dogs. She is happy to meet them and stands for sniffs before rolling onto her back just so everyone knows she is gentle and sweet. With smaller dogs though she perks right up and immediately shows her playful side and has a gentle balance of respect and softness- a great sign of her puppy social skills. Reba did well meeting our house cat Biggie, she was curious and respectful while still showing her interest. Right now, she’ll need thoughtful introductions and clear boundaries if there’s a cat in the home. Having another dog in the home will help keep her interest in the cat respecful instead of seeking a playmate. Reba will do best in a home with a yard and a calmer environment where she can keep building confidence at her pace, so busy city life probably isn’t her jam. A medium-energy dog pal would be a great match for play and companionship, and like any puppy, she’ll thrive with structure and continued training. Underneath the puppy uncertainty is a truly sweet, gentle girl who is growing into her bravest self. Ready to welcome Reba home? Story
Margo is a 3.5 year old female Redbone mix who weighs 70 pounds. She was starved before she was rescued so she will not share her food with another dog. Margo is very playful and loves having fun otherwise. She is good with people including children and other dogs. We do not know how she’d be with cats.   Margo is spayed, fully vetted and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. Story
Sweet Baby is an 8 month-old female Redbone Hound mix weighing around 42 pounds. Sweet Baby is a shy and nervous pup and will need a patient, understanding adopter, but she is making wonderful progress every day. She plays beautifully with other dogs and gains a lot of confidence from their presence. Sweet Baby will need to be in a home that has another dog to continue to build her confidence. She has done well with cats in her foster home and is already house trained, having had no accidents once she learned her routine. While she’s more confident outdoors than inside, Sweet Baby has recently started joining her people on the couch—a big milestone for this shy girl. With time, consistency, and love, her confidence continues to grow. Sweet Baby will thrive in a calm, supportive home that’s willing to let her warm up at her own pace. In the right environment, she’s going to be a truly wonderful and loyal companion. Sweet Baby is spayed, fully vetted and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. Story
New Year. Fresh Start. Forever Friend. This is Gordon—a 5-year-old hound mix who has been quietly waiting 13 long months in foster care for one thing: his person. Gordon isn’t here because he did anything wrong. He’s here because sometimes the best dogs take a little longer to be seen. He’s playful, gentle, and full of joy, with a hound nose that loves to explore and a heart that loves even bigger. He’s great with other dogs, wonderful with kids, and would thrive in a home ready for adventures, laughter, and unconditional love. Gordon has already proven how loyal and kind he is—now he’s just hoping 2025 is the year someone chooses him. This New Year, Gordon isn’t wishing for fireworks or resolutions. He’s wishing for a couch to curl up on… A family to belong to… And a forever that finally starts. &#226&#156&#168 Could you be the fresh start Gordon has been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  February 6, 2026, 4:26 pm
