Story
Sam wants to be King of the Castle because all he wants is YOU. Other pets would not suit Sam. Sam loves to be loved on and cuddled. He is house-trained and smart, and knows commands such as “sit”, “down” and “stay”. And he's great on a leash! What a cool guy to add to your family!

Story
Single, lonely and searching for his perfect match. Rocket is a seven year old Coonhound mix recovering from a traumatic past. Sadly he lost his trust in people but not his love for people. Rocket loves everyone and gets very excited when meeting people or seeing his favorite human friends. He has a fear of "harsh corrections". Sometimes just the word "no" makes him nervous, though he is getting better. He is scared of being "dragged" by his collar and can be apprehensive about anyone putting one on, but does walk very well on a leash. He is housebroken, crate trained, and very obedient, always wanting to learn new tricks and skills. He loves to run in the backyard and enjoys playing with Frisbees, tennis balls, or his giant ball he can push around. Rocket is seeking an adult only home where he longs for the day he feels safe and loved, watching TV while chewing on his favorite Nylabone. For an appointment to meet Rocket, please submit an adoption application (no commitment) at Satchelslastresort.org.
