About four years ago, after a hurricane passed through Florida, we found Sweetie tied to a fire hydrant. She was already about a year old, and no one ever came looking for her. We took her in, and she has been a cherished member of our family ever since.Unfortunately, our family circumstances have changed, and we’re no longer able to give Sweetie the time and active lifestyle she deserves. This has been a very difficult decision, and our only goal is to find her the loving home she deserves.About Sweetie:• Approximately 5 years old• About 50 pounds• Spayed• Crate trained• Great with children• Great with small dogs• Loves car rides• Loves playing in the water• Loyal and devoted to her people• Comfortable relaxing in her crate, which she considers her safe spaceSweetie is a true “ride-or-die” companion. I'm heartworm positive and will need ongoing care until I'm re-tested, but I've got plenty of good years ahead. I'm looking for someone who'll give me the active, loving home I deserve. Cooper is 8 yrs old. He has skin allergies. He is house trained. He grew up with my senior dog so they get along and my cats as well. He barks at strangers n when people knock. He also barks and whines sometimes if he needs to go out. He also whines for attention he's a very jealous dog. Other then that he's been a good dog. I am giving him up due to a head injury I have become disabled and can no longer care for him the way he deserves. I am also having to move and I can't take him with me. I am behind on his shots however he does have records of visits with New Hope Vet in deep Creek he's been going there since he was 6mo old. Also he's is between 50 and 60 lbs.

Rocket has been at the shelter for some time and would love to find his forever family soon. He's seeking an adult only home where he longs for the day he feels safe and loved, watching TV while chewing on his favorite Nylabone. Rocket has had a traumatic past; sadly losing trust in people. but never losing love for people. Rocket has a special staff member friend at Satchel's and is learning to trust and enjoy what life has to offer. He has a fear of "harsh corrections" and is scared of being "dragged" by his collar so can be apprehensive about anyone putting one on, but does walk very well on a leash. He is housebroken, crate trained, and very obedient, always wanting to learn new tricks and skills. Waterplay is Rocket's favorite outdoor activity, always being ready to play in the sprinkler. He loves to run in the backyard and enjoys playing with Frisbees, tennis balls, or his giant ball he can push around. Always followed by a cool down in the kiddie pool. If you have a calm home where Rocket will feel no threats, please consider adopting this 8-year-old boy.
