She came from the same property as Bunny, Ruby, and Frankie, and after settling into her foster home, she’s doing amazing. Amelia now lives for snuggles and believes every morning should start with belly rubs. Once she becomes your bestie, she will happily hop right into your lap and soak up all the love. Amelia can be a little shy with new people at first, so she needs a patient home that will let her warm up at her own pace. But once she does, she becomes the sweetest, most loyal little companion 💕 She’s also a phenomenal best friend for your dog. Despite going through leg surgery and heartworm treatment, Amelia has remained incredibly sweet, happy, and resilient. Story
Driving home and the person in front of me driving just opened car door and dropped him off on the street. I picked him up and he had mites and was very skinny was also very scared. I took him to vet and have been trying to find a home for him but haven’t been able to. He’s a really sweet dog and listens but he has separation anxiety and is scared of people. He’s mainly house trained as long as I’m there with him but as soon as I leave he gets anxious and usually poops and chews on things. I’m mainly at work and have to keep him in a crate so I don’t think I’m the best option for him. Hopefully one you can adopt him and have some space and time for him.

Stormy is incredibly friendly and gets along with everyone she meets — she truly lights up any room with her joy ✨ She’s currently learning her potty training and doing great, but like any puppy, she needs time, patience, and lots of love as she continues to grow. Stormy thrives on companionship. She loves being around people, playing, and feeling part of a family 🏡 Sadly, due to our work schedules, we can no longer give her the time and attention she deserves, and the person who was helping us had to return to their home country. Rocket has been at the shelter for some time and would love to find his forever family soon. He's seeking an adult only home where he longs for the day he feels safe and loved, watching TV while chewing on his favorite Nylabone. Rocket has had a traumatic past; sadly losing trust in people. but never losing love for people. Rocket has a special staff member friend at Satchel's and is learning to trust and enjoy what life has to offer. He has a fear of "harsh corrections" and is scared of being "dragged" by his collar so can be apprehensive about anyone putting one on, but does walk very well on a leash. He is housebroken, crate trained, and very obedient, always wanting to learn new tricks and skills. Waterplay is Rocket's favorite outdoor activity, always being ready to play in the sprinkler. He loves to run in the backyard and enjoys playing with Frisbees, tennis balls, or his giant ball he can push around. Always followed by a cool down in the kiddie pool. If you have a calm home where Rocket will feel no threats, please consider adopting this 8-year-old boy.
