Ginny is a coonhound mix puppy, 4 months old. She looks like she is mostly redbone coonhound. Ginny weighed 15 lbs on intake in mid-November and should have an adult weight around 45 lbs. She's a happy, healthy pup who is comfortable around new people and enjoys being with other dogs. Arriving in Massachusetts Dec 6 or 13th. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants. Our Adoption Process Visit our website www.necoonhoundrescue.org for information about the Coonhound and Beagle breeds. Read ‘Is a Coonhound Right for You’. If you'd like to apply, our application is available at the link above. Once we review your application one of our Adoption Counselors will be in touch to review it with you. Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.

EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. Nutella is a cute and social guy who is ready for his next adventure! He came to us from a southern shelter so we don`t know much about his history, but he has be fun and curious since he came to us. He loves to go for walks and use his strong nose to find all the good sniffs. Nutella had to have surgery on his hip, but he is on the road to recovery and is looking for a family who can help him with his stretches. Depsite the surgery, Nutella loves going for walks and exploring. He loves snacks, snuggles and meeting new people.
