EJ is a fun, young hound. He needs someone active, with a big outdoor life that will take him on adventures. He is affectionate and loyal to those who show him love. He would prefer to be the only dog as he doesn't like to share. He is not good with cats or other smaller animals or small people. He really wants to be a working dog.   For more info about EJ and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612. March 19, 2026, 12:17 am

LISA FRANK 💔 Wants love so badly… she just doesn’t know how to ask for it yet. Lisa Frank came in as a stray, and while the shelter is overwhelming for her right now, we can already see the sweet girl hiding underneath the fear. She’s nervous and unsure, but you can tell she wants to connect — she just isn’t quite sure how yet. Like so many shelter dogs, we truly believe once she’s out and able to decompress, she’s going to open up in a huge way. There’s something incredibly precious about this girl… the way she watches, wants to socialize, and quietly hopes someone kind will give her a chance. She doesn’t need someone expecting perfection on day one. She needs someone patient, loving, and willing to show her that the world can be safe again. Once she realizes she’s finally okay, we have no doubt Lisa Frank is going to blossom into an amazing companion. Please don’t let fear make her invisible. The sweetest dogs are often the ones who just needed someone to believe in them first. 🥺🐾 PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Meet sweet, adorable Annie, who is an orphan no more since arriving in foster care. This poor girl was scared and terrified in a KY shelter for months until their rescue coordinator reached out begging us for help. Since arriving in foster care, she has truly blossomed. Annie has learned the joy of soft dog beds, the joy of dog bones, the sheer pleasure of running with abandon in the backyard with a ball in her mouth. She thoroughly enjoys the companionship of her foster siblings and has even started engaging in play with them. She 100% housetrained, loves her crate, and happily snoozes the day away in a dog bed or curled up on the couch. Despite being a coonhound which has a reputation for being loud, she is a very quiet girl, rarely barking. She is highly food motivated, so she has also done very well with training. Once of her very favorite things to do is go for a walk. If you hold up the harness and leash, she immediately runs over to you and patiently sits and waits for you to put it on her. She walks very well on a leash and goes on daily walks with the other dogs in the house. Watching Annie settle in and learn that the world is not a scary place has been so heartwarming. She has so much love to give and is truly a gem of a dog. Please consider making Annie a part of your familyyou will not regret it! Any interested adopters must be willing to drive to meet her in person in Bethlehem, PA. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our application. Meetings will not be scheduled without an application. Please visit our website www.rogersrescues.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If loving people were an Olympic sport, Boone the six-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix would take home the gold every single time! This 40-pound bundle of red-coated enthusiasm is friendly, playful, and so genuinely thrilled to be near his people that he has been known to get so excited during a good petting session that he ends up underfoot on the leash walk. He means well, he just really loves you. Boone knows sit, is quiet and calm in his crate, crate trained when on a schedule and is currently working on his housetraining. He is a smart boy and with consistency he will get there. Squeaky toys are basically Boone's love language, and he is happiest when he has a good squeak toy in his mouth, a dog friend to play with, and a human nearby ready to deliver belly rubs on demand. He is good with other dogs and friendly with strangers, and would do best in a home without cats. Boone would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where he can burn off that glorious puppy energy and then come inside for the snuggles he so deeply deserves. He is young, enthusiastic, healthy, and has an absolutely enormous amount of love to give. If you are ready for a joyful, affectionate, and squeaky-toy-obsessed hound boy to join your family, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. July 4, 2026, 5:43 pm

Story
Hattie has already overcome so much in her short little puppy life, and now all she needs is someone to love her forever. Born around April 1, this precious Lab/Redbone Hound mix puppy came into the world as one of nine beautiful babies born to a sweet Redbone Coonhound mix mom  who is now spayed and settled in her forever home. Sadly, food was scarce where they started life, and little Addie arrived to the Critter Cavalry Rescue much too thin and right started a rebuild program to put on more puppy weight and to enjoy all the puppy chow she wants during 4 meals a day. Despite everything, her spirit has never stopped shining and her curiosity has not been dimmed about the new life around her. There isn't a sweeter puppy than Hattie. She greets every person with a wagging tail, a hopeful heart, and those irresistible floppy Hound ears and sweet eyes that dissolve your heart. She makes everyone smile. Such a gentle soul and seems to believe that everyone she meets is there to be her new friend. She along with her littermates are amazingly smart and she has mastered pee pad training in no time.  She is ready to learn more new things and to understand more about why it is important to know how to be crated. She loves other dogs, is wonderful with cats, and enjoys making new human friends of all ages. Her soft, blonde coat is as beautiful as her heart. One minute she's racing across the yard like a tiny gazelle, soaking up every new adventure, and the next she's curled up beside you, perfectly content to snuggle close. Those quiet cuddle moments are her favorite. We expect Hattie to grow into a gorgeous, athletic girl weighing around 45–50 pounds. She would love a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and simply enjoy being the carefree puppy she's always deserved to be.  Every puppy deserves a happy beginning. Hattie didn't start out that way—but her story is far from over and we have promised her and her littermates that they will get the best families that can be found.  Somewhere, her family is waiting. The family who will show her that she'll never wonder where her next meal is coming from, that she'll always have a soft bed to sleep in, and that she'll be cherished every single day of her life. Could that family be yours? If your heart is telling you that Hattie belongs with you, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to learn more about adopting her.We transport to many northeastern states and also adopt to families throughout Tennessee. Give Addie the happy ending she's been waiting for—and she'll spend a lifetime making you grateful you did.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 4, 2026, 12:35 pm
