My name is Skylar and I am a 16 week old Redbone Coonhound mix boy that must have part Bunny Rabbit in me because my fur is SOOOOO SOFT!  I was found as a stray one night when I wondered up to someone’s house in the rain and cold and was crying at the front door to come inside.  I was so scared and very lost.  What I want most in life is to be with the nice humans who are taking care of me.   I weigh 26 pounds and one day I probably will grow up to be about 65 pounds as an adult boy.   I am learning all about the crate, when to tell my foster family that I need to go outside to the bathroom and how to chill and snuggle while they watch football on TV!  I love to ride in the car and I am very friendly with all animals that I meet.   I love people and I guarantee a whole lot of love to come from my heart to yours!   If you are interested in me please let Critter Cavalry Rescue know!   Email them at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   I am ready when you are!!! Meet Cedar. This sweet boy was picked up by animal control and no one ever came to claim him. Cedar is very loving and low keyed. He was obviously someone's pet at some point. He gets along with other dogs, loves cuddles and walks well on a leash. We do not know what he thinks of cats. He is stealing the hearts of his foster family so better hurry and get your application in for him (LOL). Cedar is about 3 years old and 35 pounds. From his foster family: Cedar is such a good boy. Completely potty trained, super playful and lovable. He loves our girls and our pups too!! He sleeps through the night and just goes in his crate on his own- I just left it there open as an option and he went in at 8pm on his own and stayed in all night without a peep... he is so super sweet, pulling on my heart strings already! Update: Cedar tested positive for Lyme and Anaplasmosis (another tick-borne disease similar to Lyme's) . He is currently undergoing the prescribed treatment, which involves a course of antibiotics. Rest assured, he's responding well to the treatment, and his antibiotic medication will be provided for completion once he finds his new forever family. Cedar's road to recovery is well underway. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
