Story
Meet Elvis, the charming boy is a purebred Southern Speckled Goofball, but the AKC would say "English Cooonhound". You guessed it, he's nothing but a hound dog - and we're "howlin'" good about his chances of finding a forever home! This 2 year old neutered male has a heart of gold! This handsome boy is super cuddly and loves everyone he meets, making him a great family dog.
Elvis would thrive with a doggy friend and gets along great with cats and kids too. Currently weighing 45lbs, he's expected to grow to around 55lbs when fully settled into his healthy weight. Elvis is a well-rounded pup who knows some basic commands, and is eager to learn more.
This southern boy is medically up-to-date, housebroken, and crate trained. Due to a food sensitivity to red meat, he'll need a special diet in his forever home.
With his loving nature and solid foundation, Elvis is ready to bring joy and companionship to his new family!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
