Cecil's Story Sweet young Cecil was a boar hunting dog that was seized in Monroe County by the police. The young pup was emaciated and had large gaping wounds presumably from tussles with boars. The young pup is even branded on his backside. BCAWS pulled him from the Monroe shelter in the hopes of healing him and finding him a good home. Cecil is a very friendly and social boy who likes to carry his food bowl around in case someone might decide to feed him. It is his prized possession. Cecil, a Redbone Coonhound, is approximately 2-3 years old and a little under 60 pounds. If you would like to meet this sweet goofball, please contact Kristin at (865) 599-4262. His mother had just got evicted and was on the side of the road giving him and his brothers away, Hank said it was scary. A nice lady, Beth stopped and rescued him and called BCAWS and now little Hank and his brother, Waylon, is getting medical care.
