Meet CornBread! He is a 6-month-old redbone coonhound. He is very smart. He is learning to walk on a leash here at the shelter. He was brought in due to his human loosing their place to live. He is very active and loves to learn tricks for a good trick! He is a puppy and will need an understanding owner who will train him to the best boy around! His adoption fee is 80.00 cash only. This fee includes his neuter, rabies as well as generally dewormed. He is too young for a heartworm test. He is up to date on vaccines as well. Please call the Loudon County Animal Shelter at 865-458-5593!

Story
Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Millie is 8 months old, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. She knows sit, come, stay, lay, and bed. She is energetic and loves walks, runs, or hikes. She is food motivated for training. She is friendly and sweet. She wants to be with her people as much as possible. We have an invisible fence for almost 2 acres and unfortunately she has started running through it. She needs a physical fence to keep her safe.
