Story
We adopted Copper 4 months ago from SPCA in Fredericksburg. He has always been on the more reserved side. Very intelligent, loving, protective, loyal boy. He loves outside and long walks in nature. He would make an incredible hunting dog. We have a 6 year old daughter and unfortunately, he has growled a couple of times at her when he is sleepy and laying down. Therefore, we have never been totally comfortable with him around her. Although, most of the time he licks her while wagging his tail. Unfortunately, his unpredictable behavior is not something we are comfortable with our young daughter growing up around and with the family and friends we have over. We are praying there is a better fit for him.
