Story
Freddy is not just a dog, he's an experience, an adventure, if you will. Lol. I swear he has ADHD.He's also still basically a puppy. A large puppy at about 65 lbs.A blend of Black Mouth Cur with a little bit of maybe catahoula and Alabama brown dog thrown in for good measure. He’s fully vetted, neutered, on monthly heart worm, flea and tick prevention and micro chipped. He’s looking for his forever home and boy does he ever deserve it. He’s been in boarding at a local facility most of his life and is ready to spread his wings with a family who loves him. Or an active single person, perhaps.Freddy is a very energetic and playful pup. His favorite thing to do is to play fetch, hike and run. He would be a great companion for someone who likes to take long walks, hikes…somebody with his high level of energy. But he does know how to mind!!! He just doesn't want to of he doesn't have to. LolHe's been through training and will listen to someone who is Alpha. Please consider giving this young man a home. Probably best if no small children in the household as he is a little rambunctious, although he likes kids. He does like to mouth since he's still a puppy. A big puppy.Since he is so athletic, he could jump a standard chain link fence or a low standing fence so a 6 ft privacy fence would be ideal for him or someone committed to leash walking/hiking on the daily. A few times on the daily. NO CATS FOR HIM!!!HE HAS A VERY STRONG PREY DRIVE SO NO SMALL ANIMALS OF ANY KIND.He has had a week of in home one on one training and would love to find someone that could reinforce that. His fee would never cover what we've put into him, so his fee has been sponsored by someone to the RIGHT home but a donation is required. Please apply online for him at madisonarf.org
