Story
Hazel was got during Covid for a family of 5 kids and the house had another small dog. The family has separated the new home will not allow the large dog to be there. So need to find a home for her. She is very loving to the kids and can be protective with other dogs but grew up with a small dog. She is crate trained and will let you know when she needs to go to the bathroom in the back yard and is not a loud dog outside of when somebody comes over who does not live at the house as she protects her home by letting people know she is there but she wants to kiss the new people more than anything.

I also like to chase squirrels and play with the water hose.I KNOW: I need to work on my leash skills but I`m a smart boy and want to please. If you teach me, I will try very hard to learn quickly. I know the commands Sit and Paw and politely accept treats. The volunteers say I need a strong (but loving) and experienced adopter to teach me how to be a good boy.I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: I`m an entertainer and will put a smile on your face everyday.***Due to my energy level and size, I would not be a good fit for a home with little kids. Older kids and teens would be great!***
