Story
Theo is a great boy, just has a few issues that will require a stern adopter. He is friendly with dogs and people, but due to his nature, no small children. He has been through extensive training. He knows all obedience. www.playk9resuce.org The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and other needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.

Story
Fire up the fun, because Brisket is here to bring the flavor! This playful, sweet puppy is still perfecting his recipe for confidence, but one thing’s for sure—he’s got plenty of love to serve up. Whether he’s working on his leash manners or facing new adventures, this little smokehouse apprentice is ready to marinate in all the love and guidance you can give. Brisket is a true goofball—expect plenty of zoomies, wiggly tail wags, and “oops, did I just trip over my own paws?” moments. He believes life should be saucy, snuggly, and just the right amount of messy. And speaking of sauce… he’s got a way of looking at you that will melt your heart faster than butter on a hot brisket. With patience and encouragement, Brisket will grow into the confident, well-mannered pit boss he was born to be. Until then, he’s ready to smoke out the competition when it comes to cuddles, laughs, and pure puppy joy. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as Texas and a personality as bold as hickory smoke, come meet Brisket. He’s ready to be your best friend—no grilling required!

Story
Meet Wyatt! A fun and active pup who despite being over 60 pounds, still loves sitting on you for attention and love. Wyatt is a giant scaredy cat who always wants to be by your side. He loves playing outside with other dogs and is fantastic on walks. Wyatt is fully leashed train by the professionals at GIFMAF dog training and knows most commands. We think Wyatt is a mix between a Rhodesian Ridgeback and Vizsla. He’s also trained on an e-collar for extra reinforcement on walks or around the house. Wyatt is potty trained, sleeps and eats in a crate, and cuddles on the couch for hours during typical Florida thunderstorms.
