Meet Penny! She is a very sweet dog who loves to run and play with her dog friends! She also loves dog toys and will even play ball by herself. She takes a bit to warm up to people. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She just prefers dogs over people. She will need to be in a home with a pack of dogs so she can live her best life! She does well with kids, cats, chickens, and (of course) dogs. She doesn't chase cats or chickens. She is house trained and doesn't chew things up. When first meeting people, she is a little skittish. It is important to let her set the pace. Mabel (CEO of Attitude, Head of Household) 💅🐾 Mabel is 4 years old and has been with us since August 2023, when we rescued her from the urgent list at the shelter. She is a strong, dominant woman who does not take crap from anyone — including her husband Larry or his best bud Teddy. Equal-opportunity accountability. Mabel is also very quick to talk smack to other dogs as they walk by. Loud opinions. Zero hesitation. She is full of herself, and honestly? She’s earned it. She’s a gorgeous girl and she knows exactly what she brings to the table. Larry and Mabel are a bonded pair, no negotiations. They met in boarding after being rescued a few months apart, and somehow it was fate. He’s the Ricky to her Lucy. She’s prim, proper, and runs a tight ship. He’s the “I’ll chew your ear off while we walk through Home Depot because I love you so much” kind of guy. Together, they are perfection. They both adore people and will greet you with enthusiastic teeth kisses. Larry is also exceptionally skilled at turning himself into a bowling ball and knocking down the pins — and yes, the pin is you. You’ve been warned. 🥴 Mabel and Larry cannot go to a home with other animals, but trust us when we say this: the two of them are more than enough. Entertainment, companionship, chaos, and love — all included. 📍 Located in Cleveland, TN 🚗 Transport available to other states 💲 Adoption fee: $150 total If you’re ready for a power couple with big personalities, big love, and zero apologies — Mabel (and her man Larry) are ready to move in. 🐶❤️🐶

The decision to re-home our Honey is a very difficult one, I have to do what is best for her, my family, and I. This decision is based on my being overwhelmed. I have experienced personal health issues and situations with family needing my attention. I also care for my grandchild most of the week. Honey deserves better. She will surely thrive. She has a great temperament. Very calm and sweet. She loves to go on hikes and camping. She was born on: Superbowl Sunday, February 12, 2023 From 7:40pm to 10:50pm Born #5 out of 6 puppies Her and her twin brother were born after mom took a one and a half hour break from delivering. Mom: Great Pyrenees and Maremma Sheepdog Dad: African Rhodesian Ridgeback She is food-driven. She loves to run in the yard.
