Meet Penny! She is a very sweet dog who loves to run and play with her dog friends! She also loves dog toys and will even play ball by herself. She takes a bit to warm up to people. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She just prefers dogs over people. She will need to be in a home with a pack of dogs so she can live her best life! She does well with kids, cats, chickens, and (of course) dogs. She doesn't chase cats or chickens. She is house trained and doesn't chew things up. When first meeting people, she is a little skittish. It is important to let her set the pace. She will need someone with patience who understands that she is more of a pack dog than a people dog.March 10, 2026, 1:06 pm

We found Harley abandoned by railroad tracks in December of last year. We’ve been keeping her at our house, but we want to find her forever home. She is extremely cuddly, sweet and amazing with children. She treats her one year-old son as her own baby and never has shown even the slightest sign of aggression— she is nothing but gentle. She is trained off the leash and is a really good listener. She gets the zoomies and loves to run outside. She is extremely loyal and has a soft, gentle personality. She’s very emotional emotionally in tune and picks up on people’s feelings. It takes her a second to get comfortable but once she is, she’s the sweetest dog. She is extremely intelligent and would do great as a family dog and space to run around. We took her to get a check up where she got up to date on all shots, neutered, and they aged her between 1 and 2.

Story
Nyx is a 4 year old amazingly stunning girl full of love. Her color is beyond beautiful. She loves to play and sunbathe on the deck. As much as she loves the yard, she loves being inside a home and being with a person. She loves giving kisses and is an absolute lover. She has yet to meet a stranger. She loves to snuggle and wants the attention or she's happy laying down and chewing a bone. Nyx would be best being an only dog as she deserves a lot of love. She loves yak chews, cheek bones and bully sticks. She is crate trained but absolutely amazing in a house. She's never had an accident in the house. Nyx doesn't bark, she never growls and extremely quiet. I fostered Nyx 3 years ago and have kept her, waiting for her forever home. I kinda became a foster fail, but as I have a dog with cancer that needs extra attention, Nyx deserves more. She didn't have an easy beginning and I'd love to find her a happily ever after.
