Meet Yogi – 9 Years Young, 70 lbs of Soft Hound Warmth! Yogi is a gentle giant offering the best of both worlds! Indoors, he’s a low-maintenance, world-class couch potato who loves curling up on soft beds and lounging near his humans. He’s fully house-trained, quiet, and gives only a bark or soft cry to let you know it’s time for food or a bathroom break. Outdoors, his fun hound nose comes alive! He enjoys daily walks and tracking scent trails. Because of his drive to chase squirrels and groundhogs, he needs a securely fenced yard for off-leash play and stays on a leash during walks (where he can occasionally pull firmly when on a scent). Kids & Dogs: Great with kids, gentle, and fine with other dogs. Health: Neutered, house-trained, vet-checked (benign senior skin/soft-tissue spots; healthy & happy!). Story: Yogi has known one loving owner since puppyhood, but needs a new cozy home due to his owner's declining health.

Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Trudy is 9 years old, and she'd like a word with whoever decided that means slowing down. She'll check the whole yard before she checks you — over the rocks, into the leaves, all business — and she'll circle back on her own schedule. Sit down and give her a few minutes and she comes in, and then she's in your lap and won't get out of it. That's the deal with her: she decides, and once she's decided, she's yours. At a sleek 50-ish pounds, Trudy co-exists peacefully with dogs and cats. What she wants is someone unhurried, a quick potty and security check yard, then a couch buddy to unwind with at the end of her day.
