Lizzie is a lively 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with the joyful energy of a puppy. She loves the outdoors and especially enjoys running freely in a fenced yard. Lizzie walks well on a leash, rides happily in the car, and adores playing with her toys. She’s smart, eager to please, and sits politely for treats. This sweet girl isn’t a picky eater, sleeps soundly through the night in her crate, and is both microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives. Lizzie still has some playful puppy traits and needs plenty of exercise and continued training to help her grow into her best self. She would thrive with an active family who can match her energy, give her room to run, and provide the structure she needs to blossom into a calmer, well-mannered companion. Lizzie is full of love and potential — she just needs the right forever home to bring out the best in her.

Every day she greets everyone with the happiest heart and the biggest smile, like the world is the most wonderful place just because people are in it. She has the gentlest, most loving soul. The kind of dog that leans into you for affection, looks at you with those soft eyes, and just wants to be close. She loves everyone she meets and carries so much joy in her heart. It’s impossible to spend time with her and not feel it. She would make an incredible therapy dog. Her calm, affectionate nature and the way she connects with people is something truly special. She has so much love to give and is just waiting for someone to see her the way we do. All she wants is a family to call her own — someone who will love her, cherish her, and let her finally rest her head knowing she’s home. She would prefer to be your one and only — other dogs are just a little too exciting for her, and cats are a hard no. Humans, however, are her absolute everything. Please help us share her story.
