Scooby (1/29/2026) was a stray pup running the streets of Washington until he was picked up and taken to a vet office to be scanned for a microchip. None was found and after a few days of waiting for an owner that never came forward, Scooby was turned over to Pet Search. Scooby is a black mouth cur/Rhodesian ridgeback mix who is full of energy and love! This pup will be a large breed boy when he grows up and will need lots of exercise and training. Scooby wants so much to please and is working on his manners and his housebreaking. Scooby has learned several commands and skills since coming to Pet Search and has proven to be a quick learner who very much wants to please. Scooby is vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, microchipped and is scheduled for neutering and 4DX testing. He loves other dogs and is non reactive to cats. Scooby would be the perfect addition to a family with kids that will help him burn off his energy. After his daily zoomies, he is quite happy to snuggle up with his favorite “hooman” which could he you! This sweet girl isn’t a picky eater, sleeps soundly through the night in her crate, and is both microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives. Lizzie still has some playful puppy traits and needs plenty of exercise and continued training to help her grow into her best self. She would thrive with an active family who can match her energy, give her room to run, and provide the structure she needs to blossom into a calmer, well-mannered companion. Meet sweet Helen, a 5month old Chatahoula mix. She's 22lbs of puppy playfulness who will grow up to be a large dog that would do best in an active household. Helen enjoys playing fetch and tuggie, going on hikes, and following you everywhere. She also loves playing with other dogs, cats, and older kids- she is still learning her manners and will jump when excited. She is crate trained and almost house trained. Helen is a special girl who was born with a vision impairment, so she will need a home with some patience to guide her through her lifetime. She has no issues doing zoomies around the yard, navigating through the house, or playing with toys. Hope, born in February 2023, is a black mouth cur from the Bahamas. This beautiful lady did not have the easiest life on the island; however, is the sweetest girl you would ever want to meet. Hope had an owner who passed away and was left on the streets to find food and shelter. After a litter of puppies, she was rescued and made her way to Pet Search. Hope is gentle, wants love and attention, and will steal your heart. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She has started her heartworm treatment which is fully covered by Pet Search. She is housebroken and crate trained. Hope is excellent with other dogs and has shown no reactiveness with cats. Hope weighs around 40 pounds. Her gentle demeanor would fit into any lifestyle and home, she has not been around children in our foster home, but we feel she would be excellent with children that are respectful of her space.
